Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

@ dbc i treat it more as an investment hhe. Sa mga pharmaceutical companies kase ang trabaho. Anyway, i have heard of some cases na ung mga coop courses daw nagkakaproblem sa pagaapply ng student visa? The CEM daw is requiring LMO from the school.

Serious? May Co-op din yung program na kinuha ko. When and where did you get the info? Yung napansin ko lang, mas matagal yung processing ng may mga Co-op. Like in my case, over a month before I received my medical request. But I'm hoping, kahit madelay, na magrant tayo ng visa. =)

Iamvenus. Un ung kwento ng agency ko. May pumunta daw sa kanila na 3 cases ata na coop ung kinukuha. Then nagpapatulong sila sa agency regarding sa lmo. Anyway no need to worry kase di sila umabot sa medical.

Vash i suggest magbackread ka nalang sa thread dito. You'll find tons of useful info and yeah sayang lang ang agency fee. I paid 65000 tapos sila pa ung nagkamale sa application ko kaya nadelay ako. Anyway everything happens for a reason. Regarding your case. Ahm this is just my opinion ah. Find another course na related pa din sa com sci, kase masters in com sci i think is available dito sa pinas? Find something na wala sa pinas and yet related pa din. It would make your sop stronger. No work experience? Ahm ilan ung idle time mo na wala kang work? You should account for that and prove na ur doing something valuable para maconvince siguro ung vo. Anyway God bless on your sv

Ahm for the benefit of others, as ive said on my pm to you. Most of the colleges do not require a letter. Since yours is rrc, just send the requirements and you would be ok. Well its different when it comes to universities. Some have skype interviews, reference letter from 2 esteemed professors and such. Univs are a lot tougher to get into, plus the tuition is a lot more expensive. Sabi nga ng mga iba dito sa forum, if you are looking for a quick way to earn, colleges are your pick but if you are looking in the long run, then go for univs. Colleges offer mostly diplomas which run 2-3 years while univs has mostly degrees which are for 4 years. I was admitted to york. 3 years of studying for the diploma then after one more year I get to have a degree in applied biotech

Ask ko lang sa mga nakaapply na. Pag ba binigay ng vfs tracking num nyo gumana kaagad ba cya? Nagemail na kase saken with the tracking num kaso no details pa din. Do i have to wait for a few hours or a day?

Try online application if you plan to go out of country, in this way you are not required to submit your passport not until you receive a notification/passport request from CEM...

Wooow!!! This is the fastest response from CEM ever. I think. Hahaha! See, everything totally happens for a reason. =) I had my medical exam done at SLEC Global. They told us they'll submit the results (without further tests) within 3-4 weeks. But dbc and I are doubting it. We're both hoping they'll submit them earlier. If you'll get it done at SLEC Ermita, they'll say with 7-14 days. Usually one day lang yung medical exam. Just be very early. =)

Guess what? Our MR will be forwarded next week pa daw!!! But the good thing is results are all normal Thank God!!. I believe we'll all receive our visa in time Baka next week rin ma out yung MR mo.
