Sa pagkakaaalam ko you have to wait for your PGWP bago ka lumabas ng bansa kasi once na magexpire yung study permit mo on implied status ka na while waiting for PGWP.
Then they wait for PGWP.

Hello,

I know that everyone wants to appply for an immigrant once they are done with their school.
I just read a new rule about the new rules in Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. Not sure if affected ba yung
mga International students taking diploma course:

Eligibility

To be eligible under the Ontario Human Capital Priorities stream, candidates must:

Have a profile in the Express Entry pool and score a minimum of 400 points under the CRS. The score must remain at or above 400 during both the Ontario nomination processing stage and at the federal application for permanent residence processing stage;
Have a minimum level of work experience;
Candidates who choose to be assessed against the Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) criteria must have at least one year of continuous and full-time employment experience, or part-time equivalent, in a National Occupation Classification (NOC) level 0, A, or B occupation in the five years prior to the date of the Notification of Interest from the OINP.
Candidates who choose to be assessed against the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) criteria must have at least one year of cumulative and full-time employment experience, or part-time equivalent, in a NOC 0, A, or B occupation in Canada in the three years prior to the date of the NOI from the OINP.

Have a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree OR an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report produced by a designated organization indicating that their foreign education credential is equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD;

Demonstrate English or French language proficiency level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 or above in all four competencies (speaking, reading, writing, and listening);
Intend to reside in Ontario;
Possess sufficient funds to cover settlement costs in Ontario; and
Meet the additional criteria under either the FSWP or CEC.

I know a couple fo students who went home and then went back to apply for the PGWP without any problems ;D But this is because our college takes a month para lumabas ang transcript and other docs required to apply for PGWP ;D

Ofcourse, this is all under the pretense na buhay pa ang study permit mo and usually ang ending the permit mo is same as the 90 days allowance unless mas nauna m-expire ang passport mo versus the duration of your study. To be safe like what most said, mas gusto ko na hawak ko na si PGWP bago pa ako lumabas bansa. ;)

  • Other reasons: There are less than 6 months remaining on your spouse`s study permit. I do not find it reasonable to
    seek an open work permit at this time.
Hi Floje, sorry to hear that your wife got refused for her OWP/TRV. I think yung hinighlight ko sa taas yung totoong reason. In transition ka kasi, so talagang magdadalawang isip yung VO na ibigay yung OWP niya while wala ka pang PGWP.
Did some research and found out that you can bring your wife here, only when you have a job that is a NOC 0, A or B

If the principal applicant is a holder of an open work permit (e.g., post-graduation work permit, Working Holiday work permit), their spouse or common-law partner who is applying for the C41 exemption will need to attach a copy of the principal applicant’s work permit to their own application for an open work permit, along with proof that the principal applicant is employed in an occupation in skill level 0, A or B. The applicant’s spouse or common-law partner will also need to provide information about the principal applicant’s employment by attaching supporting documents, including

a letter from their current employer confirming employment or a copy of their employment offer or contract; and
a copy of three of their pay stubs.

So useless din kung uuwi ka. You should focus on getting a good job here so you can bring your wife over later.
Patience is a virtue ;) Good luck

If I were you I will not pray for a verdic this week kasi ang verdict lang na makukuha mo is refusal. Ang processing time is 8 weeks and earlier than that means refuse.

Maybe they apply online so other visa office processed it or nakasama sa last batch ng pinaprocess.
Im not saying 100% ng binibigyan ng less than 8 weeks ay denied.
Pero in general or majority denied.
Immigration is a human resource industry kaya it is susceptible sa error and other things that human mostly commit.

My point is do not worry needlessly kasi sarili mo lang inisstress mo.
At sila rin nagsasabi na apply early.
