Next week ko pa makukuha yung akin, but I shouldn't have any record naman. I think mali lang talaga yung instructions. Doesn't make any sense when I read it eh. I mean, why do we need to submit a letter of explanation if there's really nothing to explain? I don't see the point of explaining why I'm a good citizen.

I could be wrong, but that's the way I see it. Let me know if you find out something! :)
I submitted mine as is because from what I understood hindi naman match ang "No criminal record on file" sa "No record on file" eh specifically un ung kailngan ng explanation. What course and college did you apply for?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking din. Hopefully positive nga! I still have to do my medical next week though. ABM College sa Calgary, taking up accounting. How about you?

Hi everyone! Sorry, I've not been around in a while, paano busy sa finals tas full time work during the holidays :) I'm sorry I can't backread all the questions but feel free to ask me from here on out. Medyo hindi pa toxic ang school so I have time to hang around.

It's my last semester! Grabe, the time just whizzed by!! :)

Good luck to everyone still applying!

Hi mic-mic,

Madami kami nagbabasa! :)

Halimaw si misis ha, daming inaral. I really feel bad for lack of self improvement. Hehe. Oh well, nangyari na.

Graduate din ako ng ECE saka nagaral sa DLSU-M pero itong current success sa career ko ay pang 25 years old lang. I am now 35 and working here in the UAE.

At first, parang ang haba ng two years noh?
Magaapply ako for SP this year. I got accepted sa BAVC.
Medyo maganda na travel history ko saka I have no desire to work in the country. Wala sana sila makitang reason para i-deny ako.

Thanks uli. Keep posting!

Hey Cad143,

Goodluck sa university application! Fraustration ko din yan :( Although, keep in mind that the Masters Degree immigration tract for Ontario was put on indefinite hold yata. ;D

457 lang kami kaso 468 yata yung huling draw... Pero papalo kami once naka 2 years work na si missis sa August and pag-graduate ko sa May. Kaso, mag renew pa ng passport and pa-extend stay si missis and baby. Keep that also in mind as passport renewal here takes 3 months!!! Kaka pa-renew lang namin and sa end of March na makukuha :( Ang complicated ano? Well, I just tell myself na maganda naman ang reward in the end. :)

I don't know the proper description pero parang ECE SPED therapist ang job ni kumander. Sobrang sobrang sobrang swerte lang talaga siya and I cannot express how much luck and blessing that she stumbled upon that job. Ang usual case po kasi is no matter how professional or how big of a manager sa pinas, you have to start somewhere the first few days you land. That's how reality is. I'm not scaring you guys but I want you to be mentally prepared that it can be a possibility that you don't find a job in your profession on your first try. Some people are lucky too like intra-company transfers and then there are some who's been working retail for a year and can't find a job in their profession :)

Basta sipag and positive thinking lang :)

Kami for example, sa profession nga ni missis ang first job niya pero di namin na-factor in yung travel time which was about 2 hours (3 bus transfers). Then there's winter that makes you question the decisions you made to go here ;D Then you need to buy a car to reduce the 2 hours commute to 30 minutes drive pero ang mahal pala ng insurance ng kotse (350/month for new canadian drivers). So tiis tiis muna sa simula and then once you get that industry experience, mas ok na. Happy to say that mas malapit and mas ok na ang work ni missis ngayon because tiniis niya yung challenges (travel time, etc) sa first na trabaho. She's working in the same field/job code but in a much bigger scale. :)

So in the end, it's a combination of luck, skills (si missis speaks 4 languages, has psychology and ECE degree and masters degree and international experience), interview skills, communication skills and relevant experience. ;D

Sorry po, ang haba ng post ko. Just realized na baka helpful sa iba yung experience namin and I hope you guys can pray na makapasok kami sa mga following EE draws :)

drummerlover and peej06, by batch kasi nila send ang medical and sometimes it takes time talaga :) Patience and dasal dasal lang ;D

Hi Mic-Mic,

Salamat sa mga advice. :) Nakakatuwa basahin at nakaka good vibes. Think positive lang kami dito at inaanalyze next steps. Grateful kami sa lahat at sobrang nakakatulong not only for me but for others as well. Praying that your family will continually be blessed. Madami kayo naiinspire at natutulungan. Target talaga namin sana 1 year or 1.5 years na program/ grad certificate. Hehe. Ubos talaga lahat ng savings. Pero in the end, it will help din naman sa application ng PR.

Btw, nung lumabas yung express entry round of invitations this week naisip ko kayo!

Professionals din kami dito sa Manila and we're ready with what Canada has to offer, mapa retail pa man yan o ano kasi blessing talaga yan. We're starting a new life in another country and you really have to adjust and see what life gives you. Sa una talaga tiyaga tiyaga lang yan pero sa tingin ko naman Canada is the kind of country that will give you hope. Sipag at tyaga lang and you will be given many opportunities. Positive thinking lang hehe. Noted sa passport renewal, will keep that in mind.

Sana tuloy tuloy na ito at sana makaalis this year. :D Salamat ulit!

Hello po.
Tanong ko lang po kung enough na proof of finance ang more than 1.5M but not less than 2M? Balak ko po i-apply is a degree from university of alberta. I have an idea po talaga na mahal kapag sa mga public school. :) aside from the show money, may iprepresent din po akong land titles,or/cr ng car, business na grab car, and COE. All these are from my sponsors which are my parents. nakapag-visit na po ako sa Canada last year lang. Licensed Pharmacist po ako sa pinas. I have a relative in Canada where I can stay po. Any suggestions po sa profile ko?

Thank you. :D

Thanks guys! Sana talaga yung next draw makuha na namin kasi ang mga concerns namin ngayon, which you guys will be in also in a couple of years are:

1. pagka graduate ko, apply ako ng PGWP, and mixed info ang nakikita ko if pwede ma extend open work ni missis habang wala pa ako skilled work. Pag may skilled work ka na kasi, pwede na renew open work ni spouse kaso it takes 2-3 months processing. Also, if napatigil siya work, titigil din yung count ng canadian experience niya eh sayang naman at ok na ang work niya ngayon and sayang din to increase points (under the pre-tense na hindi pa kami nabigyan ng ITA in the next 2 draws)

2. Sa Humber, sabi sa website, it may take 3-4 weeks for the official transcript to be available after the last day of school...after that you process your pgwp and I don't know if the implied status is enough for employers to offer you full time work :(

Konting kembot nalang guys baka makuha na kami. Sana talaga :)

@cad143, you can also check out vancouver.

@scorpio! Patapos na tayo, hindi pa tayo nagkikita nila tipsy and floje! Goodluck sa atin!

@cmaple, I think you're all set and just make sure that you have gathered all the necessary documents/proof required.
