Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Wala pa din sakin eh,. Naka receive lang ako ng glitch (yun yata tawag dun) from CIC pero wala naman nakalagay nung inopen ko accnt ko.

i received my result 10 days after that "glitch"! pinipilit pa ako ni bf na tumawag sa canadian visa center noon after ko makatanggap ng email tapos wala namang pagbabago sa profile ko. buti nalang di ko ginawa. ha. mukang halos lahat naman yata na nag apply online eh nakatanggap netong "glitch" at least once. hopefully malapit na result mo (positive!) fingers crossed for you!

VO natin sya dito sa Makati kaso he is handling FSW visa. Binigay ko lang yung Ref number ko then tinry nyang I-access so yun nga nasa Backround checking pa daw un papers namin kaso medyo long shot nga kasi pregnant applicant ako sinend ko rin sa knya yun lahat ng forms kaso hindi daw sya pwedeng magbigay ng assessment that may/may not be the same with his/her colleague handling my application - ethics policy daw nila

my idea ba siya bakit ang tagal nila ngayon mgprocess?

March 14 start ng class ko. Sabi nya normally 7-8 weeks daw processing though 7 weeks lang nakalagay sa CIC website. Natatagalan daw sila sa background checking. For example, by batch daw kasi nila sinesend un mga queries sa mga tinatawag nilang investigator so nakasalalay sa knila un update ng process. Tpos yung mga sponsored naman ng parents/relatives/friends na nasa Canada eh my separate na Canadian outsource investigator din sila. Medyo challenging daw sa Philippines kasi wala tayong centralize data unlike sa Canada.

Thank you, maryjoane! I'm so conflicted, I just spoke to my counselor from Inscol and she says she doesn't recommend that I re-apply because I will just get another refusal. She wants me to go back to work for 6 months and then apply for a study permit maybe for September intake. Pero gusto ko sana go na ng go... I have explained naman in my SOP that I need this education to supplement my skills and previous work experience as I re-enter the workforce in Philippines after a sabbatical. 2 years din kasi akong di nag work (I got pregnant, tapos I developed pre-eclampsia and was on bed rest, delivered early, and my son was in NICU for a while.. So I then made a personal decison to stay at home muna for the first year of his life. I don't know if I should include this to explain the work gap)

But basically my counselor says I shouldn't re-apply until I have returned to work for 6 months minimum. Besides it's too early pa naman daw to apply for May. Pero like last time I applied for the permit, more than 7 weeks inabot so if by 1st Feb ako mag apply most likely late March nanaman or early April ang result so tama lang since May 9 yata ang pasukan. Gusto ko nalang lakasan ang loob ko at mag apply ulit. Pero di ko alam kung kaya ko'ng ma-reject twice. :-\ :-\ :-\ Once is enough, ang sakit sakit na (haha nag drama ba)

Dont lose hope, actually ako panggalawang apply ko na. For me, i think you should be honest with your SOP and indicated everything that cause you gap on your employment.

actually na experience ko nauuna ko nakikita sa profile ko na may update kesa sa emal na you have update. Parang late na dating email.

Kahit na hindi advised ng counselor ko pipilitin ko talagang mag-apply for May.


Meron po ba ditong naging successful sa second attempt? Minor changes lang gagawin ko sa application ko. Refused due to employment prospects in home country saka employment history/situation. Pa-advise naman po .. Nag pa move na ako sa May 2016 intake, antay ko nalang LOA ko from Niagara College para mai-upload ko sa CIC. Tapos yung receipt ko as proof of payment for school papabago ko to reflect Spring Intake (imbes na Winter intake). 50 percent lang naman muna binayaran ko. At sinabi ko din na may nakausap na akong land lord sa area malapit sa school at nag agree na magdedeposit na ako once visa is approved. I have roughly 105,000 ++ CAD sa account that I submitted plus 3 yrs na ITR and audits on businesses. Binago ko na din yung SOP ko at inexplain ko yung work gap (na nag stay at home mother ako following complications due to a difficult pregnancy and childbirth na hindi na mauulit dahil sa reproductive issues ko which i submitted the OB certificate for during medicals) at saka inexplain ko din na hindi mahirap maghanap ng work dito (ha! talaga lang haha) pero aspire ko maging successful critical care nurse or special area nurse dahil challenging at fulfilling ito at kailangan ko yung certificate from canada para angat yung application ko sa iba.

nako, ang haba na netong na-type ko. pasensya. patulong naman po, kung meron na may similar experience dito!

Personally niyo ba kilala ung VO?

Personally kilala ng friend ko, hindi ko sya directly na kilala. Nakakapagtanong lang ako thru friend ko tpos pinapasa nya yung question ko and answer ng VO (vice versa)

Oo nga nakapagcheck ako ng medical passed dati ng 10am tpos 11:30am na dumating yung email ;D

ahhh ano ba yan, i got an email from CIC today that my application has been updated (i got my rejection letter yesterday) so dali dali akong nag log in sa myCIC, hoping na sana nagkamali sila sa pagdeny sakin kahapon pero system glitch nanaman kasi wala namang pagbabago sa profile ko. huhu canada pinapaasa mo ako ng husto :'( :'( :'(

pero nung sa akin 2 weeks after medical passed my reply na agad VO na reject ako.

Hello. Guys, I got questions here as I will be applying soon:
1. Can I include my husband in the application now if susunod
siya after 6 months pa?
2. Do I still need to show my funds if my sponsors' funds are already enough for the required amount?
