Actually, nung una plan ko sanang isama si hubby at baby ko as dependent sa SP ko pero nung nagconsult kami sa isang agency sabi nila mas okay daw kung ako na lang muna... mas safe daw... then sunod na lang si hubby at baby ko after few months... but as per this thread... napansin ko na marami rin naapprove kahit may mga dependents...

From the CIC website, past 4 months lang naman po yung nandun so I think it's enough to present POF from 4 months back. I scanned passbooks din kasi to go with the bank certificate and only included details as much as 4 months lang...

Ang confusing naman nun, both sites are CIC... I just noticed though that for the site dbc mentioned, last update stamped at the bottom of the page is Date Modified:2013-07-26 while the other is newer: Date Modified: 2014-04-15

Well I guess they can validate naman from the bank regarding sa cashflow/real status of the account in the bank if they have doubts on the matter.

Just wanted to clear na I didn't mean na ikontra ang info na nasa forum na to, just sharing lang din what I read...

No worries Well, both links are reliable source naman, however, the one that i posted is from the CEM website not CIC. Our applications will be checked and scrutinized by VO's here in manila.
In the CIC link, it was stated that additional documents/informaton may have to provide when you apply for a study permit. "Check the website of the visa office responsible for your country or region for local requirements".

Grad student ako dito sa canada. I've been here for 4 years now. Ngayon, nagfile kami ng application for study permit ng anak ko kasi gusto ko na makasama siya. 4 years is no joke. pero super tagal ng application process. nagfile kami nov20 last year. dec natapos medical. tapos may furtherance na medical pa ng march and natapos din ng end march this year. naghihintay kami ng visa to now. nagfile kami ng maaga kasi we were hoping na makapasok siya dito ng end march. which hindi na nga nangyari. e ngayon enrollment na dyan sa atin and pasukan na next month. we don't know if we should enroll him na lang sa school dyan sa pinas. btw, 7 y/o ang anak ko and incoming grade 2 sa atin. kakainip.

Is there anybody on this thread who has recently applied for a student visa (online)? I was wondering if you get some sort of an acknowledgement about your application being submitted to the manila office (eg. any mention of the word manila on your AOR). My wife and I have applied for a student visa+ open work permit from japan but we really don't know where our application has landed (our AOR is generic). I vividly remember just before we applied, the Japanese CIC website clearly mentioned that the application if submitted online would be processed in Canada but now when we see it, the website states that all online applications submitted from 14th april 2014 onwards would be processed at manila. We submitted our application on the 12th of April.

As we are relocating to India at the end of the month, I am wondering how to proceed with the application.

We submitted 4mos bank statements as advised by our consultant.

Hello everyone! I am planning to apply a student permit to canada online . I am currenty in england and my partner. I already have a mycic account and checklist code but have not started my application yet since i am waiting for the remaining funds from my mother by next week. I have an LOA from my college and pathway letter to a University since it will increase my chance in getting a visa. Me and my partner are going home on the 23rd next month as we want to have a vacation while in the phils while waiting for our visa. My target to start at the college is on september 29th, 2014. I know it's a bit tight but my college said if i won't make it on september I can always start at a later date which is jan next yr. Anyway, the only question i have is what should i put as country of residence on the questionnaire on my account as I am planning to apply online 1 week before we arrive in phils? At the moment i put phils as my country of residence as we want to lodge our application in phils. Response will be greatly appreciated!

You can try to apply in my college. Pareho tayo ng gustong kunin hospitality management. Mine is a 2 yr course diploma. I do agree importante talaga na flexible yong payment which is meron payment plan ang college ko. I searched a lot of colleges in canada online, mahal talaga sa toronto area or other areas but mas mura sa vancouver, british columbia. I have my LOA already a week ago (soft copy) and pathway letter to University (since it will increase our chance to secure a visa). They sent my hard docs (LOA & Pathway letter) yesterday so by next week nandun na yon sa pinas though di ko naman kelangan kasi online ako mag apply. By the way i just paid 1 sem fee and books and exam fee (CAD 6,400) something. Im in england right now but going home next month. BTW, im not an agent of the college.

Nah. her results were forwarded already. Just felt a lil celebratory after a month of climactic suspense of her medical exam sometimes, even small progress are worth celebrating with all of this. Haha
