I'm sorry to hear this! Trust me, I am the first to understand how annoying this is. Mexico had my husband's passport for 9 and a half weeks before it was finally returned. Interview was February and his visa was only issued early June. so pathetic!!!

I am currently writing a lengthy letter to the immigration minister to share our very unfair experience.

I will be crossing my fingers for you.. any day now!

I am a June 2015 Sponsor of my wife from Dominican. Receipt acknowledged in July 2015 . File sent to Mexico in August 2015. Medical results received.
Met wife in 2008. Began supporting her in 2011. Bought a Dominican estate style house in 2012 and moved her family, mom, son, and sisters in. Bought a second house in 2013 ( had two) in Santiago. Put her sister through university from 2012 onwards. Built mom, cousin and aunt each small Dominican type homes. Put son and niece in better schools. Married her in December 2014. Applied for spousal immigration in June 2015. She is now 10 weeks pregnant and I have asked for some expediting because of the high Zika Virus Risk in Dominican and its risk to pre-natal babies .... We are "in the queue", and don't know status.... and I am worried because of our age differences..... any body know when CIC will have interviews next in Dominican Republic

we will have ours july 15, try to go to your MP, Couze your case is serios and its better for the child thats is going to born

the next round of interviews are next week I think.
So far they have been every few months.. September 2015, February 2016, May 2016 and now July 2016.
