Can I join the countdown excitement of when we get to see our husbands? I'm flying down in 42 days for our anniversary. Like 2worlds1love we will be staying in the hotel for once which doesn't happen very often.
Any suggestions for Punta Cana? We stayed in Dreams La Romana last year but there has been a big jump in price. I'm reluctant to try a new hotel :-[

Majestic Colonial is nice... my husband works there. haha. I've stayed here with my family and met my husband during our stay. haha.

We got married at Luxury Gran Bahia Principe Esmeralda...but all the Gran bahia hotels are in the same complex and are nice.

We are actually gonna rent an apartment. We considered staying at a hotel, but it just wasn't in the budget this year even though I LOVED to just be the laziest bum ever and have the all inclusive experience. Either way, we are super pumped to be close to the beach! hooray!

I haven't been to one in since 2010!!
I met my husband through a mutual friend, in Santo Domingo, and since then I only stay at our house there!
I'm jealous of your planned resort vacations!!!

Yess, I believe for Mexico they are still in December... And I think they are stuck in Nov - Dec with us as well :/

I feel like I read somewhere that the MO has a rule about having to email everyone back within 2 weeks and that often the emails are generic in nature. So perhaps they just sent a replied that is not applicable due to the fact that they haven't officially started your application and cannot tell you that they have. Just a thought especially since you had emails contradicting the information. If I had to guess, they are behind again cause my friend who was suppose to have an interview sometimes in August STILL hasn't been emailed about the specifics. All they told them was that they were going to schedule an interview for August, but didn't know when. Well...its AUGUST and she & her husband haven't heard a thing more.

It really becomes frustrating. My husband is still super optimistic about the timing and him getting her by certain months. At this rate I pretty much feel like by the time he comes, it will be a year plus since we applied. I hope for your sake you hear something this week. Maybe the Canadian officers were enjoying their long weekend??? I don't know. Here's hoping for some news!

They emailed her saying they would be requiring an interview for her husband and that they would have it sometimes in August. Then said they would inform them of when the interview would be scheduled. Last time I chatted with her they didn't have the date yet however, there was someone else on the Facebook group that said their interview was scheduled for September 1st so I imagine they will have a few over a few days... Just a guess.
Yiu have t heard anything??

Nope!! Nada!!
They had emailed me saying it was in transit and they didn't receive it yet, but I emailed back just asking if they can confirm they have it because prior emails from them, they said they did have it! Well, they emailed me back very quick on that to confirm they do have it (duh!!) but nothing else.
I was wondering if they would have told me by now if we needed an interview!

Sb414 you think you can do me a favor? Can you long into ur ecas account (sponsor) and see if the applicant side changed to I'm process as well... I'd like to know since I can log in as a applicant
