Your chance of getting ITA depends on how many applicants out there have 409 points and higher. At the moment there simple isn't enough information and data to do any estimations.

agreed. The spreadsheet in this forum is simply too small of a sample size to make a sensible statistical judgement. Anyone say "it's good enough" or alike, I would consider that as pure speculation (there is nothing wrong in speculation), just keep that in mind and don't take that too seriously.

First of all, Mine and wife NOC codes are different from each other.
And the reason that why i want to apply 2 application is that; In this way might be i can increase my chances to get selected in ITA under any one of the application.

I see that a lot of people are thinking of submitting 2 profiles with their spouses. Well, I guess it is fine to do so, but keep in mind when both of you are invited then the other will have to decline his/her application. If you have read the EE FAQ carefully you will see that there is a time penalty for those who declined an invitation. The person who declined the invitation will not be eligible to apply through EE again within a time frame. Now I am not sure if that will affect the application you choose to proceed. Also, how will you answer to the question "Have you applied to EE before?" given one of you will have to submit your application before your spouse.

I'd urge these people to think it through and consult CIC before deciding on submitting two applications (especially the ones with the same score) so you are not screwed over. As one mentioned before, this is not a lottery draw and you should always go with the application that has the highest score. If both have the same score then go with the one with the highest work history / better education etc. If you have the same score then chances are you will be invited at the same time which will create the problem I mentioned above.

Good Morning everyone... I would like to know if I should include all my work experiences even if it is not related to my degree... I have two years work experience as Call Center Representative and three years work experience as Medical Technologist which is related to my course.. Should I include it all in the work experience? Yes, because if it qualifies as a NOC O, A or B then you will get scores for it. It doesn't hurt to include your work experience even if they are not related to your intended occupation after you have arrived Canada. You just include them to score higher.

A good score or not depends on what others are scoring and with limited data it is hard to tell what is the average and etc.

If you wish to get PNP to score an extra 600 points (given you do not already have a valid job offer supported with a LMIA) you need to first create a EE Profile and Job Bank profile. Then look at the requirements of each province and then apply to them after. Each provinces have their own set of rules and requirements so can't really give you a definite answer here. Please note that after you have successfully transmitted your EE Profile you have 30 days to get a province to confirm with CIC that you have a valid nomination. If the province cannot confirm with CIC or include a Job Bank Profile or obtain a valid job offer supported with LMIA within the 30 days limit your profile will turn ineligible and will most likely be withdrawn from the poll.

Work Permit and LMIA required. LMO is the old version of LMIA.

Hopefully CIC will crack down on this practice, Imagine if they are issuing 1500 ITAs, and 500 of those go to duplicate applications that are subsequently never followed up.

I'm assuming they'd have to add that number of ITAs on to the next draw, when once again people will have submitted multiple profile and the cycle will repeat.

I'm guessing that since CIC have targets to hit they'd have to implement a new rule regarding spouse's applications, otherwise they'd constantly be dealing with people who have submitted multiple profiles with the misguided idea that it increases their chance for selection when EE isn't event a lottery.

Furthermore what do they do with the no doubt, many EE profiles with high scores that turn out to be bogus with falsified work experience etc.

I think that's why CIC has implemented a time penalty for those who decline the invitation. If I remember correctly the penalty is 1 year. And yes those who are submitting multiple applications will definitely screw over others who could've been invited earlier; thus, should be penalized. Given CIC takes seriously about the integrity of the program I am sure they will have rules in place to take care of that.

I have never run into this situation so I am not sure either. If I remember correctly there is a "Self Employ" selection when you fill out your work history.

Kindly note that the SINP Express Entry Category is yet to start accepting applications but have displayed their initial requirements, which asks that we first apply to EE and get accepted into the pool first then when SINP starts to accept applications, we will need to provide EE number and Job Seeker Validation code. With EE application submitted and I was told ineligible, I only got EE number but no Job seeker application code yet. I will get SINP nomination after SINP opens their application first and they choose me. Therefore, is there anything I can do to get my EE changed from ineligible to eligible so I can be given the job seeker validation code? Thanks

My application is listed as eligible and I don't have Job Seeker code on the PDF file either. I am not sure if it is because I am also eligible for the other two Federal programs even without the nomination.

If your application is not eligible at the moment maybe because you do not meet the requirements of any of the 3 Federal programs? If your application has been transmitted successfully and have been accepted into the pool you will then obtain a PDF file from CIC with EE Profile # and Job Seeker # which you then use to link our Job Bank Profile to your EE Profile.

I have applied for FSW 2014 & due to cap limit reached i have to apply in EE 2015. My question is what are the necessary details from the IELTS score that needs to be updated in creation of EE profile. I dont have a copy of my IELTS score with me. I just remember my individual scores. do we need the unique code that is shown on the IELTS result card to create the EE profile?

I do not know how long IELTS is valid for since I wrote CELPIP instead. Your IELTS score report needs to be valid when you submit your application and I believe it should be no older than 2 years from the date you wrote the exam (it is listed somewhere on the CIC website under the Language Test section). And yes you ened to unique code that is shown on the report and you will need to input that code into your EE Profile.

I only listed my education from high school and up since I have obtained both in Canada, but I assume you need to at least show your post secondary education.

How can I change or update the information I submitted in the EE as I submitted some wrong information. Also, I have no marks in all fields. It is disgusting. How can I update or change the information. Can I create another profile

If you are trying to update your profile log onto your MyCIC account then from the list select the view message button. In there you will see the status of your application and at the bottom a button to view submitted application. Click on that and you will be brought to the familiar page and you can go from there.

PNP is pending because CIC requires your province to confirm the nomination. You can try contacting your province and see if they will confirm the nomination. On the other hand, you should've received two messages from CIC and each contact a PDF file with instructions on how to proceed and your EE Profile # in both. Check those.

If I am not mistaken you have to write the language test regardless where you are schooled because meeting the minimal CBL benchmark is one of the requirements for all 3 Federal programs.
