In my experience, progress on our case depends on background checks mainly and other activities are dependent on it. I got first MR in March 2013 and there was no progress after it for 1 full year until it expired. When my background checks were completed, they asked for another Medical in April 2014 and now case is progressing quickly. Some people with same timeline who didnt get MR in 2013 are now at same stage as myself (i.e. MR was issued to them after background so case is progressing with same pace)

So it depends on whether your background was completed before issuing MR or not, if not, no one can guess how much time it will take for PPR. Hope this helps.

Yeah Its well summarized process of LVO... its all depends on BG checks. Once your status updates to Medical results have been received, it means your initial eligibility and application is approved and have positive review. but still BG checks remaining which at this stage includes security and criminality checks. now here it depends the countries you visited and stayed there for more then 6 months, addresses and cities in your countries where you lived and stayed there for long time like if you were living in Multan for 6 years then sifted to Lahore and living there in this case you will have to get police certificates from both cities and each address you were living. so BG check is going to take more time...

Some countries security departments are very sophisticated like Philipine that BG response is quick.. some countries require translations like Saudi Arabia, so BG check will take time, as they are not friendly, UAE and UK are computerized so BG checks are quick. Regarding Pakistan it depends on Police and investigation departments..

Hi Guys,

According to your timeline that is why more then the average, I think you will be receiving PPR within a month. Medicals of rest of your family members are valid other than the treated one?
