I have recived AOR (CIO) 25-05-12 today

I wanna ask few questions....I will appreciate if you'll answer them :

1 : You took IELTS or not yet? I guess Visa Office is asking almost every one to submit IELTS. I am also thinking to take IELTS soon.

2 : You applied under MPNP ? or some other PNP ?

Total visa processing time of PNP application is 10 - 18 months(according to CIC website)......few lucky ones get visa with in 10 months while for others it takes longer.

But now a new system is introduced since Dec i.e we have to submit our application at CIO, Nova Scotia rather than posting it directly to London visa office........so cant say what would be the exact duration in between visa steps.

But according to my poor knowledge whole procedure in short is as follows mostly :

You'll receive another AOR from London's Visa Office, accompanied by additional documents request, then medical request, then you'll get Passport request 1(PPR1) & lastly PPR2.....which is last step....after that you'll get a stamped visa on your passport.

I hope I'm able to clarify you a bit......but its better that you should check whole detailed procedure of PNP from CIC website too for better info.

after AOR, i have an understanding that u send ur docs to the concerned embassy/HC.
After that ur file is executed under the federal system and ur provincial section is over with it.
Then all the correspondence will be done with the concerned embassy and its their discretion to take a decision.
It depends on ur officer when he is satisfied with ur file then he issues u MR.
it is v hard to predict when it will be issued.

I think its enough for now.

I wanna ask a question that from where can I get a "Bank Draft"?

If I get a Bank Draft from Western Union or Dollar East, is it acceptable by CIO?
