The back round check was Nov 4th to Nov 17th for Pooya

I am wondering howmany days from background check to passport request. I am still waiting my background check to be completed.
and how are you gonna send the passport ? Are you in Ankara?

Thank you. No, we are not in anakara. My wife is going to give authorization to a travel agency to bring her passport to them.

Hi everyone,

Can anyone guide me for some additional documents as Afghan national that I need for spouse sponsorship.
The questions and those forms that confuse me are as following:
In additional information for Afghan nationals there forms include which I cannot find most of them in CIC website but they are in the guide 3911e DON’T KNOW IF I CAN PRINT AND USE THEM ?
The forms are such as: Supplementary Information Form-Afghanistan. Education Background and work experience. Authorization to Disclose Information- Afghanistan [1]
RESIDENCY Questionnaire-Afghanistan. Proof of Relationship to sponsor and etc.
The above forms or text are as a form in the guide 3911 but I don’t know if I can use them.

1] Since I am not living in Afghanistan but the Authorization to Disclose information is address to ISLAMABAD Pakistan. I am residing in Turkey. What should I do for authorization disclose information?
AND when I should fill these documents? Do I have to fill them along with my application for permanent resident and send it to my sponsor? (But my sponsor “Wife” is also now in Turkey with me.)
Please give me your opinion and experience those who pass through the process.
And if anyone could tell me also that how can I rate their profile.

For us as Iranian citizen, we included page 12,13,14,15 (question 1 to 15) of 3911e in the application. Also it doesn't hurt to include IMM5562E (supplementary information for travels). IMM5562E is not listed but Ankara asked couple of applicants for that when they received the application.

We did not use authorization form. I think info can be disclosed to sponsor and applicant without authorization form unless if you want to authorize a third person.

March 9 - application received
April 2 - email acknowledgment
April 27 - spr approved, file transfer to Ankara
May 5 - started processing
May 20 - medicals submitted
Aug 29 - interview request
Sep 21 - interview complete
Oct 18 - background review start
Oct 29 - updated police clearance requested
Oct 30 - medicals passed
Nov 17 - Decision Made
Nov 21 - PASSPORT REQUEST

Some advice based on our GCMS notes... PLEASE BE PATIENT! I know, it's hard. An interview added on 4-5 months wait time for us.. EX: "schedule interview" (May 30) -> "interview scheduled" (Aug 29) -> "Interview" (Sep 21) -> "background review start (Oct 18) Keep in mind there is a limited number of officers making the final decision for several countries not just Turkey... there are several officers/departments coordinating and reviewing your file in the background... don't freak out if it's taking forever.. or contact them unnecessarily, let them do their jobs I have not noticed any particular patterns.. the timing is all very case-dependent

Most importantly... have faith in God... your spouse is the only one who knows what you're going through in your unique situation, so give generously patience compassion kindness trust comfort to one another always

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am sponsoring my husband from Georgia.We applied in July,2016. He will be going for interview in Ankara on December 8,2016.Just a question re: IM5562 travel supplementary form, he never lived in another country than Georgia for more than six months. Is it going to delay his application? And I also indicated my travels from the age of 18. Would that be enough? We got the standard letter like everyone received. I would like to know how long is the interview? What are they asking? Do I have to fly from Canada to be with him?
