We are all excited to live with our spouse. I hope all the best for all. We had lots of chats too but they were not in English we just printed 30 pages of them and translated those pages but I have the complete electronic file in case they ask in a case of interview. Lol! lots of documentations.

I think they have waived the interview, in your case, since your background check is in progress and they have asked you for a new PCC. Your spouse's approval is around the corner.

Thank you to all you for advice and support. And yes pmc92 Georgian people are very nice. We have almost the same story.And the the thoughts if my husbands application won't be approved.But all of us wishing positive results.My Facebook communications are not in English either, it's in Russian. My immigration consultant told me not to bother translating, too many pages. He said just submit as it is, all they are looking for it's a prove of communication. i hope it's a good advice.

Ahmelina23 i just read your previous messages re: visiting visa. Yes, I travelled to Tbilisi back in May and we did apply for visiting visa, also stating that we are in the process to apply for PR. But same thing-refused.I guess they don't want to give spouses a chance to see their new country.

It's so ridiculous and doesn't make sense! Because it's so obvious that you're applying for a visitor visa just to see your loved one since there is a long time to wait until he'll get a PR. I really don't understand them

As for the interview, it says that by the end of the interview they tell you whether you're approved for a visa or not. Some people get visa stamped right after it and for some (if they bring additional documents or something else) it goes into background check right after the interview for a few weeks (timing may vary).
Good luck to you! Would you be able to please let us know how your husband's interview went? My husband has it after yours on December 15th.

well..The Canadian ambassy in Ankara sent me an email requesting (IMM 5669) Schedule A: Background / Declaration which I have already sent. just because there is 6 months gaps they are asking me to send the same form again, that's ridiculous. I was at university at that time and that info on the system since I was on study permit. what's this suspicious attitude all about? delaying my process for nothing!! .

I was at university at that time and that info on the system since I was on study permit. what's this suspicious attitude all about? delaying my process for nothing!! .

Did they ask you to upload it to your myCIC account (to speed things up?)

Most of my communication documents were in Farsi (Persian). I even included conversation between my mother and my husband and those were not in English either. I didn't bother translating anything. I think you should be fine. Don't worry about it.

I didn't translate any of my communication documents, we just gave them a whole pile. They might ask for translation of some messages but most likely they won't ask about it at all. I'm in the process of downloading our chats from a few apps and social media for the upcoming interview and I won't translate them, I'll just give them a huge pile

I just checked theIMM 5669 form we submitted at the time of application and we put "present" under "to", and the form was signed and dated. but it is ridiculous that they keep asking more documents.

Didn't they ask you at the time of interview what you do? Put "present" for the first line of section 7, 8 and 12. Hopefully you will get PPR right after they receive this form.

I don't think there is any upload bottom in MyCIC!

Did they ask you to upload it to your myCIC account (to speed things up?)

no they didn't say anything because background check and interview is totally different process. I cant put " present " becosue it is not present for me : )
there is a 6 months gaps in my personal history section that's why they ask it again but. it is obvious that I was studying at a university and on a study permit which was provided. so whats big deal with 6 months gaps eh ? (oh I am already Canadian I guess )
