Not yet, she has it on November 8th. I will ask them right away))

My hubby spoke to our lawyer and unfortunately there are no news yet

Same here! My family says it's an obstacle that we have to go through and be patient. Even though it's extremely hard but I keep on telling myself that it's for the better, we will be reunited and get even more than we expected due to this obstacle

We tried that back in April, when we were first engaged, but she was refused (no travel history and no family yet in Canada.) So I immediately bought 2 tickets (one for me and one for my uncle/best man) to go to Tbilisi to get married in June. Now I look forward to buying a ticket for my wife to come here, hopefully before Xmas.

We recently tried to get my hubby a TRV and got a rejection too( Because of family ties, but not in Russia, in Canada which is me! This is ridiculous!!! We sent the sponsorship approval and told them that our sponsorship application is in process! Nonsense

Best of luck! Hopefully all of us will be reunited with our loved ones this year!

Wow you are following me eh? it went well. She told me her opinion in my application is positive no concern. Her concern was our diffetent religion.
Asked about our trips, living together ,future plans. she took only 4 passport pictures not passport. I asked why..she said that I could do it even in canada and asked me how long will I be in Turkey for..that's it ! Also asked for clearance. But I am not sure if it was for turkey or Canada since I have it only for Turkey.
My interview linr on my account says completed.

I am already in canada lol .
But I have some concerns about passport request..my work permit is up in 2017 February..if VO requests for passport and during that time my visa expires what am I gonna do? I won't even have my passport to apply for TRV..I am confused.

Welcome to Canada as a PR (much better than on a TRV) Once you have your PR, you can't apply for TRV nor do you need to.

Why does cic request passport ? I already have my visa and I am in canada.
