Did the email tell her that she was approved and asked her to send her passport?

I didn't see that approval letter, just the interview letter. Nope, she wasn't requested to send her passport.
What I've heard from them is that Ankara has everything, it's approved and they should wait for follow up. I'm assuming they either made a mistake or just required more proof due to doubts.

So it is their rep/lawyer who assumed wrongly.

Did you get an email correspondence about them receiving the required documents?
Thanks!

No, nothing. My wife did not even get an automated response from Ankara when she sent the document via case-specific enquiry. She then sent the hardcopy by registered mail and the Turkish post confirmed delivery on Oct. 10.

Background check still not started. The letter requesting the document did say, "In order to complete the processing of your application...", using the verb "complete" rather than "continue", so we are hopeful.

I don't understand this whole thing about not confirming the received documents, it's making everyone more stressful:(
Yes, hopefully it's a good sign!
My husband still haven't heard anything since the application went into process in August, once he does hear anything I'll definitely share.
