An agent in India promissing ETA for Canada with an Indian passport.

Hello guys. As mentioned in subject an agent in India says he has settings to provide an ETA for Canada for Indian passport holders. He sent me an approved sample of it too. I checked that ETA number on https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eta/applicationQuery?lang=en says application approved. How is it possible an Indian passport holder without US green card can get an ETA for Canada. I can not attached that sample with this thread. The cost of this ETA for couple with one person's flight ticket is 4.9 Lakhs.
He is saying if something happen wrong he will return my money. Initially he is asking 1.5 lakhs. The rest of money after getting ETA.
 
In above mentioned thread the agent said you have to fly from an ETA eligible country and can not fly from India. Another option he gave me to enter in Canada as a visitor with a stamp on your passport go to eastern country like Singapore and apply visa from there with VFS office and have to give finger prints there. The cost for this process he is charging me 3.9 Lakhs Canada visitor visa. The agent is taking 100% surety.

Fake fake faaaaaaake. This is an elaborate scam. None of what this agent is saying is based in reality. He’s trying to play off people’s ignorance of Canada’s visa processes. Actual eTA holders can fly from any country in the world into Canada using only their eTA, for example.

You’re never getting your money back and you’re never getting an eTA.

You are right mate. How can I send you the sample ETA the agent had sent me.
 
I don't have any info regarding eta but travel agents, who promise, is surely fake. One travel agent was charging me 25k to get gcms note

We've seen this on this forum before.

I'm not sure how they're gaming it. Maybe it's a real eTA they sent you. Maybe they submitted an application with a fake US green card, or they know someone who has access to the authentication website/database to bring up false positives.

But expect to be in hot water with CBSA and the RCMP if you attempt to travel to Canada with their promised eTA.
