Bryanna sir help need@ iam Indian citizen living in bangalore. One year back when I thought to travel Canada for tourism, I approached one travel agent. He took money and fraud me. He applied eta for me and approved. Using one loop hole he applied eta for me with out Greencard details. US green card holder with Indian passport can apply eta for his friends or family members with his Greencard details. In this option they don't ask original applicant Greencard details.using this option he get eta approval with my passport number and my name.I checked online using eta checking tool it shows approved But I can not travel with that eta. Because iam not Greencard holder. Now I want to apply Canada business visitor visa for attending conference. Iam a software employ in bangalore.is there any possibility I get visitor visa with same passport number and same name which linked with already approved eta. Please I need suggestion, if they approve visitor visa in port of entry having visitor visa and eta with same passport number got any problem, what can I do now to avoid this problems ?

If you are abusing the eTA system, you could be in a world of problems. You will not get a visitor visa at the port of entry. Note that YOU bear responsibility as far as Canada is concerned for any misrepresentation, which could lead to a 5 years ban. Do it the correct way. Whether the existing linked fraudulently obtained eTA will be a problem, who can say...
It certainly asks for the Green Card number, twice, as verification. Also the expiry date.
In any case, you are right, OP’s only recourse is to apply for a TRV properly. I really doubt their passport records are in IRCC’s database as having an approved eTA.

I checked my eta status in same website sir, it shows approved, if u can send your email I will send eta number, file number, application number and all details, is there any any way I can cancel my eta. You cannot cancel a approved ETA. You can try to inform IRCC about having a falsely obtain ETA but that also can affect any future applications to Canada as well.
One point at a time:
1. The site where the agent supposedly applied for your eTA is fake = Not part of IRCC
2. The eTA that you were supposedly issued is fake = Not existent
IMO, your previous application for eTA is not on the IRCC database.
I recommend you email your local visa office with the details of the so-called eTA that was issued + inform IRCC that you were cheated/defrauded. Hopefully, you will get a reply that says you have not submitted any previous visa application/not submitted any application for an eTA.
You can then apply for a Business TRV

In verification it asks only eta number and file number, application number andpassport number and issue date and expiry date of my passport. But it not asking my name. If I enter all those data it shows approved. May be he applied Greencard holder name and passport details of mine.but I know the agent did some fraud to get approves. I gave my passport and employment details, it's and bank statements for applying visitor visa in bangalore vfs. After 10 days he called me and told my visa approves. I ask him conformation, he gave me eta. I checked it online it approves. I pay him 30,000 rupees. After five days when I told one of my friend in canada I got eta to visit canada. he told me I cannot travel on eta with out Greencard.but my doubt is how can he get approve my eta without Greencard.but. Later I found he did same fraud for so many people and dissappear from His address. The agent did fraud, but not me. If I inform ircc regarding this can I get visitor visa or refuse because of this?

Agree with everything said above that ultimately IRCC will decide if the OP knowlingly paricipated in a fraudulent scheme. Unfortunately given the information posted on the IRCC site clearly states who is or who is not qualified to apply for an ETA so IRCC may view pleading ignorance of the rules is no defence at all.
The fact the ETA checking tool may not show your name is irrelevant given your passport number is in the system and if you do in fact somehow have an ETA it will be linked to your passport so damage is done.

IMO, you must inform IRCC that the eTA was obtained by your agent by submitting incorrect information.... that you hold an Indian passport but you do not have a US greencard.... and you request IRCC to cancel the eTA which is linked to your current passport. You can email + send a web form to your local visa office for this.
Even if an agent applied for you, it was your responsibility to ensure that he has provided the correct information. The agent cannot be held liable for misrepresentation
