Following Ministerial Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration of Canada on April 9, April 29 and May 19, 2020, applicants can no longer submit an application for temporary residence in paper at the VAC. New Ministerial Instructions issued on June 9, 2020 have extended this measure until June 30, 2020.
this is the application submission as announced by IRCC two days ago that it was extended till june 30 all paper applications not the opening date
i dont know but i dont think so , they will open once the canadian embassy ask them to do so when they want to process our applications again
So a two days ago i sent them an email them i mean canadian embassy in jordan , and today they replied i specifically asked when we can submit my husbands passport and this is what they replied

Hi all, what does receiving the invitation for Pre-Arrival services mean? Does it mean the file is approved? Security is approved or what?
I received the Pre-Arrival services letter 18 days ago and nothing since then. No passport request or decision made!!

its mean your application approved but i am not sure if your background check is completed or not. Mine in GCkey account the background still in process but on Ecase tool Decision made and i received the pre-arrival letter 2 month ago
