Most likely the figures on CIC website refer to those files that passed the stage of completeness check, which directly precedes the fees encashment stage.

Precedes fee encashment stage?? But what if they are unable to charge the credit card even after 3 attempts? Won't they then reject? I don't see the tally coming down, only increasing.

And the thing is, even if they add you to the tally after PER, if you then get rejected due to medical or whatever reason then again they have to reduce the tally. That's why I was wondering when one is added.

Hence, CIO will go ahead and charge other CCs to compensate for those failed cases. Of course, CIO will not decrease numbers just for a failure of 3 or 4 cases! Then keep in mind that the figures are not updated on a daily basis nor on a weekly basis as there is a long pause between the updates (on average, they used to update the table every 3 weeks), so after 3 weeks of processing, there will be a surplus of new cases that passed through completeness check which will be added to the previous numbers and negates the tiny number of failed cases.

With regard to your last notice, I think CIO has no problem if the numbers dropped due to rejection in the later stages (Medical, Security,.....). They said they accept 1000 applicants for each NOC and 25000 in total, but that does not mean that all capped NOCs will end with 1000 issued visas, nor does it mean that all 25000 applicants will succeed and get the permanent residency (We already knew that the total number "25000" will not be reached because the last day for applying is 31 Dec).

I got the UCI today from call center which means completenes check is done. It's not showing anything on ECAS though. What does that mean? App returned or on hold for charging?

Is it possible to request for UCI even before CC charge? Thanks!

They will not disclose your UCI # to your relative except such relative
is included in your application form as non paid representative and you
must have completed the use of rep form.

How do you know Caps full. Presently 613 on cic website. We are oct applicants, so hopefully we are in if at all caps full.
