Hello everyone plz help me i am very confused
My medical was done on September 7 2015 but they sent letter on October 19 tht they received my medical.
Does time start from 19 October or 7 September?
Usually they send passport request within 6 months?
Hey Karan........ Your medical would start from the date you when to the doctor and did your medical which in your case would be Sept. 7,2015......... Some ppl get ppr before the 6 months but i see a couple ppl get it after 6 months also....... But i think you will get passport request before your medical is up.

Hi everyone,

A brief history of my case. Applied spousal application in March 2015, file successfully transferred to VO. Applied for US visitor, got refused. Applied for Canada TRV, made an innocent and unintentional mistake of not disclosing the US refusal. It was misunderstanding of the question and a genuine mistake. TRV refusal letter stating I misrepresented and inadmissible for 5 years. Another mistake happened again by not looking at the refusal letter completely, just looked at the fact it said less ties to home country and overlooked the inadmissible clause. Spousal got refused in March 2016 on the basis of misrepresentation in TRV and inadmissible for 5 years.

What do you think are my chances of winning the appeal? It is so heart breaking that a small mistake like this will cause us so much suffering :(
I think you can win your case... I seen cases where the visa officer denied couple for misrepresentation and they still win there appeal..... Just Pray and have faith in God... Do you have a lawyer to help you out with your case and if so how does the lawyer feel about your case.

I am in a process of getting a lawyer. All the ones I have met so far say I only have about 40% chance. A mistake like this and just 40% chance???? just baffles me

refusal letter comes in E-mail ?? had you interview ?
Hi Tony000,

I hope you get good news soon. I got help from a Immigration Consultant to send my Application. After the interview, the Visa Officer told us that we have to wait 3 weeks for the result. They sent the refusal letter by email to my consultant.

I really wish you good luck to avoid this nightmare.

Yes my friend.... Search around for a good lawyer if you can... I always say there is no such thing as a percentage chance of anything below 50%... it better they tell you that it a 50-50 chance of winning your case... Some of these lawyers are just some criminal themselves.... Where are you located...

Hey appealsp...... im sorry but i dont know any lawyer in toronto at all... When my wife file our appeal. she use a lawyer from london ontario because she live closer to london than toronto.... If you get an adr hearing then you will not have to wait long at all in toronto. I would say about 5-8 months but if you get a full hearing. it will take about 2yrs or more to have an full hearing in toronto.

Does the lawyer has to apply separately for ADR or is it included in any appeal case?

Most lawyers request adr hearing but they can grant it without anyone requesting it..... But i still think say it good when a lawyer request an adr hearing still......that just my opinion.

And can I physically be present during ADR or is it something which happens with just the documents exchange?
