That is so great my friend..... just try and get those things in as soon as possible.....That is why i always tell ppl as soon as you win their appeal case, go and do your police record and medical so when they ask for them you will have it to send in the same day they get the request.... Im happy to hear that you are on your way now..

Hi there


I have sponsored my wife from turkey Ankara and I have couple of questions

1- first had problem with the file and it took immigration 1 yr to transfer the file to Ankara... Finally Ankara accepted the file in September 2015...in November 2015 they told me that they need more documents from me and I have send them what they asked for... they turned around and asked me for modified and simplified information from me in January and sent it as well...


Since than we been waiting...


what does this mean?? can you please help me to understand this situation???

Hey all2015....How are you doing. I hope that you are in the best of health at this moment in time... If the visa office ask you for more information that is a good sign. You just have to wait until you hear from them again and with these visa officers, some of them slower than some so just have to be patient and Pray...... Just have some faith in God and he will sure deliver.... It not your time yet to travel to canada so just stop stressing and everything will work out good for you......Remember this thread is for ppl that is Appealing there case that was denied after an interview.

I gave My interview on 09 March 2016 , Officer told me that she is having some concerns( age gape, Background of me and my spouse and development of relationship ) but still she will go through documents ( that I submitted at the time of interview ) and make decision and will e-mail us with in 30 days ....

Guys what are you thoughts on this ?? Am I waiting for refusal or their is chances to get approval ???

It sounds like your VO is better than most. We brought 500 pages of documents to our interview and our VO did not even look at the evidence. He made his decision without considering the facts.

Whoa, reading refusal of application make me worry about our situation and planning to submit our application hopefully this June. Anyway, we have lots of red flags tho , 25 years huge age gap can possibly get interview ?
I'm from Philippine and hubby a Canadian. If we can properly address our differences , would it be just fine ?

Just pray to God and have faith in the lord.... I see worst situations and they get tru with there sponsorship so just pray.

She was nice Officers , We exchanged Big Smiles etc.. she was so nice and decent . I hope she will consider My Case . Even though in the middle of my interview I left the room once and went to drink water , on my return with big smiles she said are you okay now .

I think sometimes, in some cases VO Set Decisions in thr mind and conduct interview as formality.. does not matter what you say or show that does not change thr minds... i think interviews are just formalities, decision is being made in VO mind before conducting interview bcz i do not think 15 to 30 mints allow them to know if some ones marriage is really .. So in ur case that is what happened .

That is what has been happening to everyone. I think it was the policy of the previous government to make it very difficult for anyone to enter the country through spousal sponsorship. You can see it with the downright mean VOs, the extremely long wait times for processing and appeals. It is all designed to make it very difficult to enter Canada.

I assume this was designed to help prevent fraud. However, from what I understand it has not changed the percentage of fraud cases we have. People who want to enter the country illegally know how to do it. Unfortunately we are the victims because we just don't know how to scam the system ... we just married someone from another country.

Fortunately, I believe our new government is trying to change this. Maybe this compassionate VO you encountered is a step in this direction. I know for a fact that the minister's counsel at our hearing was very sympathetic to our case. He was nice too.

My medical was done on September 7 2015 but they sent letter on October 19 tht they received my medical.
Does time start from 19 October or 7 September?
Usually they send passport request within 6 months?

Hi everyone,

A brief history of my case. Applied spousal application in March 2015, file successfully transferred to VO. Applied for US visitor, got refused. Applied for Canada TRV, made an innocent and unintentional mistake of not disclosing the US refusal. It was misunderstanding of the question and a genuine mistake. TRV refusal letter stating I misrepresented and inadmissible for 5 years. Another mistake happened again by not looking at the refusal letter completely, just looked at the fact it said less ties to home country and overlooked the inadmissible clause. Spousal got refused in March 2016 on the basis of misrepresentation in TRV and inadmissible for 5 years.

What do you think are my chances of winning the appeal? It is so heart breaking that a small mistake like this will cause us so much suffering
