I just received my booklet. Does anyone know how long I have to wait to get an ADR date for Toronto Office. Thanks

What reason you got rejected? Please share. And after receiving the booklet how long did it take them to send the date for ADR?
Marriage not genuine. I received book on May 7th and they called my consultant on May 22 to give July 24 date for ADR. This was in Toronto office.

Thanks hhassa. My rejected was for misinterpretation. Hope everything goes with mines. I received my booklet on July 15, I haven't heard anything yet. Congrats on winning on ADR! I happy for you.

Don't worry you will from them soon. May be beginning of next month. I am anxious to know what happens next ... no one is there to respond regarding that

Just out of curiosity, is it even possible to win an appeal based on misrepresentation? To win, you'd have to either prove that CIC made a mistake, or that you sent in the wrong papers by mistake, and you have proof that it actually wasn't a misrepresentation, right? Is it possible to even win an appeal if it was because of information that was deliberately left out?

Really, because they printed the letter while I was there and both my consultant and officer signed the letter. IRB member told me it will be send out in two week at max 3 weeks. Then the case will be transferred off to Ottawa.

Ok Nomaan, thank you. Hope this is over soon.

Hi, we have decided to withdraw our appeal as my case worker says your hearing date may be in Jun-2015 so I am going to reapply. Our case refused on Sep-2012, appealed in Oct-2012 after that long wait............. it's too much.

Hi Nomaan,
I am sorry to here that, but you have waited so long. If your are very positive that your case will go through in reapplying only then withdraw your appeal otherwise it will become really hard. But again this is my opinion and you know your case and curcumstances better. Please keep in touch through this forum whatever you decide? Hope things work out for all of us who are waiting. I will call iad today and figure out whats going on with my file and will keep you posted.

You should not reapply if the reason for rejection is constant. They will most likely refuse your case again. You have been waiting for hearing for 1 and a half year, looks like you are going to get a full hearing. That takes about 2 years but not more than that. If you are reapplying from Pakistan the average wait time is 32 months. You have to analyze your case to see if the issue is something that can be resolved during reapplying (more wait time + more risk) OR hearing (being able to talk to judge and officer by your self and explain the reasoning properly + less time).
