Hi Siva,
Sorry to hear about your husband's refusal. I don't know much about appeals, but I'm sure others will be able to answer.
Since the refusal was based on financial reasons, it will be good for you to continue looking for work... being employed for longer periods will show a bit more stability. If your husband has any savings or investments back home, also include it as proof.
Just curious, what kind of jobs are looking for/interested in? Do you have specific barriers impeding your job search process? Are you open to working in another field(i.e. transfer skills)? I ask because Service Canada and/or YMCA may have some career coaching/job search skills workshops which can be helpful. If you aren't already, try networking and let people in your social circle know you are looking for work.
Also, have you considered putting up an ad on www.kijiji.ca advertising your skills/experience and the kind of job you are looking forward? Some employers(e.g. employment agencies) search and respond to ads on there.
Caution: If someone contacts you through kijiji to discuss a job opportunity, please always meet them in a public place like Starbucks, Tim Hortons(where there are other people), etc for safety reasons and never at your house or the person's house.
Best wishes and hope it all works out at your appeal hearing.

I just received my record last week and I was only refused for one reason which section A.39 financial refusal. Do you know if it will go to ADR or full hearing? And how long would it be before I here from them? They refused because my father's tax assessment was zero but this year we showed taxes for my parents and me. And I held a few temp jobs over past few months and I have been unemployed for about 4 months now. Would this affect my husband's visa? When did you send your paper work after the booklet? Do you think I should send mind now? Any advice will help. Thanks in advance
