I didn't check my e-cas after the refusal but now when I check it I am getting the same message what you are getting.....yes call to cbsa to find out if ur file has been sent the number CBSA 1- 204-983-3500 or 1-506-636- 5064 CIC is 1-888-242-2100 good luck what is ur time line?

I live in pakistan n my husband lives in vancouver .i ll tell to my husband tht he ll call to CBSA to find out file status.
My ECAS status is not showing anything .there is mention only unable to show result ..

hey hina the judge told me in oral on feb 10th that I won my appeal.. 2nd week of april I got the written decision ...then I called cbsa they told me that they send my file back to the visa post 25th of april as of now I haven't heard anything from them..don't know how long more we have to wait........

I will continue to pray for all of you here receive your visas in the near future. It is a difficult process to go through for sure. With all of you here helping each other you will make it through. For your love of your spouses you are here fighting already, and therefore you will make it through. The KEY is to be very well prepared with counsel whether it be an ADR or a full hearing. This is way too important not to have counsel to help you succeed. This is your future with your spouse to be here together with you. If you decide not to appeal and re apply, the same issues will be there to haunt you and you maybe denied again because these issues were not addressed initially. Sometimes also you may re apply and get through as well, but this is quite rare of an occurrence. You are better off to submit notice to appeal. If they grant you an ADR and you fail, you get another chance at a full hearing to pass, if you fail at this it goes to Federal Court. They don't decide but rather they review your case and either recommend to allow or not and send it back to the IAD/ CIC/CBSA to decide the final outcome.

Hi Hina sis,

CIC has changed their website few months ago and I think all the refused cases are unable to check their status, probably due to case closed from their side. Once you win your appeal it will work again after restart processing in Ottawa.

Hello. Can some one help me . Today i recived a letter from
London that my application has been refused due to secsion R 133 because my wife was taking welfare that time when we apply our application even we sent them job letter and cancelation of welfare but.. Any how now plz help me out .. What i have to do and where i have to launch my apeal.. I sumbmitrd my apllication at 7th march 2012 and after 27 months i recieved the rejection letter.. Plz help me out

It depends on which city your wife is living, check out your city and hearing office on refusal letter. Your wife may hire a lawyer who charge from CAD 3000-4500.

Hi nomaan78 .Yeah i ve noticed about webside .many changing r there.
Can u plz help me tht i ve change my e mail id n have to tell also to embassy . Bcuz my old one id is closed due to hotmail isue .so whst should i do ??? My lawyer suggest me tht i do inform them via regular mail or courier .
Previouly when i e mailed them my home adress then they didnt take notice so when i went for interview at embassy then i gave them my home adress then they changed on the file... im much worried tht if they dont change again my e mail then if they send me medical n pcc on wrong adress then what im gonna do . :'( :'(

Hello, I've been away from the Forum for some time waiting in the appeal process. However, we just were informed that we would not be given ADR and go straight to a hearing. This has been scheduled for August 25th, 2014. My husband is Nigerian and still in that country. We have been married 18 months and together for 3 years. Does anyone have any advice on going through the full day hearing?

Peachbibbler Dont worry about full hearing. Just well prepare u n ur partner. Confidence is a key of success. Give them answers very confidently . U n ur parner s answers should be same. They might bullying on u n ask same answering u in different manner but listen carfully first then answer .dont go in detail unless they ask u.

If u hire a lawyer then he/she will prep both of u guys bfore hiring. They normally ask when u met first time n what date was ? Date of marriage ? N related to objection what they have concern on bluebook. They want to know how u guys know each other. U should know ur patners s likes n dislike .fvt food.fvt colour. Date of birth of ur patner etc etc .if u have not hire a lawyer then i suggest u tht take appointment to any good lawyer n ask him/ her. In my case my lawyer prep us n she fight with MC n give her rapid answer.
