I have won my appeal on dec 2, 2020 (by the grace of Allah SWT)
Got my decision letter on dec 22, 2020
No update since then, I messaged my MP and this is the response they got after contacting IRCC...
" THE IAD DECISION HAS BEEN RECIEVED BY THE RESPONSIBLE OFFICE ON DECEMBER 23,2020. REST ASSURED THAT ONCE THE APPLICATION IS REVIEWED BY AN IMMIGRATION OFFICER, THE FILE WILL BE UPDATED ACCORDINGLY"

how can i get things moving? who can i contact? its been 5 years stuck in this application process. we both are tired and feel super helpless. it's just a matter of issuing the visa and it is taking them so long.

please help

You still have to complete additional paperwork after appeal is won.

I don't know but we are all in the same problem's 7 years without my husband and don't know how long it will take now..

Online account still says they are doing my husband's background check. They asked him to redo his medical which he did yesterday because it runs out next month. Not sure how long the background check will take unless it is already done and hasn't been updated online yet. Most appeal cases I have read about on here get visa request after redoing medical. This whole process is crazy -

Same this week we were asked to redo medicals

I got decision letter on 23 dec since then no updates. I hve heared after winning appeal it takes one additional year.
