Hello All,

I have to send proof of funds to CHC London soon and wanted to confirm if this is the correct reference for required funds: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-settlement-funds.html

Also, in addition to bank statements, I will send a company letter to show my provident fund savings held with my employer and also Mutual Fund statement. Do both of these count as valid proof of funds?

Thanks,
Fahad

Hi

Pl look into this site as well : http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/campaigns/1425.aspx#pilotcriteria

as during our nomination we were asked to show funds as per the requirements given on this link.

Yes sabif you are right. CHC started email correspondence in November to send Medical request as well.

I misunderstood his timeline & thought that hez a 2011 applicant thats why his processing is far slower or might be he changed his timeline.

Yes there are chances that he didn't get/lost MR that was sent via snail mail but still in that case CHC do ask(via email) for medical results if they didn't receive anything even after given duration of 60 days.

Yes its better to enquire about his application status by sending a CSE. I always suggest that we should send a CSE after every 1-2 months just to make sure that CHC is working on file or not.

Thanks for your correction Sabif. +1 for you.

Regards

Thanks a lot Ume-e-Rayan for the rating :)

Hi Fahad

Yup above mentioned settlement funds at CIC website are 101% correct.

You don't have all of your required funds in your account? Yes you can send documents regarding your provident fund too if you just want to support/enhance your bank statement but if your bank statement is insufficient/below than the required fund then I'm afraid that CHC don't accept ANYTHING else other then a recent bank statement.

Most probably, CHC will ask you again to submit a new bank statement if your previous statement was not sufficient. It happened in case of many FSW applicants.

I hope it helps.

Thanks for the info. Ontario had accepted my provident fund letter, mutual fund statement and savings certificate earlier so I just wanted to confirm. Well in case they don't accept anything other than bank statement, I was just a couple of thousand dollars short :-[, but I borrowed cash from someone and now I'm good.

Re: All Pakistani PNP Applicants submitted file @ CIO in 2012

For RPRF, do we need to send any forms? I read previously that we can reuse IMM5620E but it clearly states application fee $550 so not sure. Also, I assume 1 bank draft for 980$ ($490X2) for me and my spouse is to be sent to London along with all other documents? I was a little confused by this text on their website under "Permanent Residence Applications":

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/fees-frais.aspx?view=d
.....
*Please note that if you submit your application to a Canadian office (CPC or CIO), payment should be made at that office

Hello all,

Please advise me on the following situation.

I got AOR ( of ontario PNP) on 5-mar-13, and they have asked me to report any change in employer/address/etc... to the visa office as my case will be forwarded to the visa office.

At the same time I have work visa and scheduled to leave pakistan for toronto in the end of april.

can some body please guide me about the remaining time period and procedures of immigration and what should exactly I do.

should i wait in pakistan for the remaining process ? or
I can go to toronto on work permit and my remaining immigration process can be completed there ?

Sorry but I didn't get your point. You said you have work visa but going back to Pak. ??? If your visa is still valid then why are you going back rather then staying there in Canada ???. Yes, PR process can be done easily while staying inside Canada.

Your Visa Office is London or Ottawa?

I hope some one else can help you out as I don't know much about this work permit & PR processing within Canada. Its better to post your query at Ontario PNP forum where you'll find many PR applicants who are staying in Canada right now.

Regards

If Ontario has accepted your settlement funds then most probably CHC, London will accept these too.

Sometimes at Province level, things are not that complicated like MPNP accepts jewellery/property evaluation too (along with a bank statement) and consider them as valid settlement funds but CHC, London don't accept any such evaluation. So thats why I was advising that its better to send a bank statement showing sufficient funds just to avoid any delays in PR process.

No we don't need any form to pay RPRF. You can send it as it is or you can attach a covering letter in which you can clearly mention all of your documents that you are sending.

Yes, you'll send 1 draft of $980 CAD.

*Please note that if you submit your application to a Canadian office (CPC or CIO), payment should be made at that office. This line is applicable to PR applicants who are residing in Canada & whose Visa Office is within Canada. While our application is at Visa Office outside the Canada.

For us following Paragraph is applicable written at same URL:

Methods of payment

Applications mailed to our office or dropped off in our drop box:

The fees accompanying a permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars. Do not submit cash.

Re: All Pakistani PNP Applicants submitted file @ CIO in 2012

Hi all

I'm receiving many queries regarding Medical examination at IOM. So I'm sharing complete Medical procedure here:

To get appointment for Medical, you can email at mhdislamabad@iom.int or call them(start calling them at around 08:00a.m) at UAN# 051-111466472.

Put Passports of all family members in front of you before calling them or send all of your these details via email. They will ask for Full name, Passport number, Date of birth, Location where you want to conduct Medicals, Phone Number, Visa Category i.e PNP/FSW/Spouse.

After this info, they will tell you total fees, time & date on which u have to appear for medicals at IOM.

They will advise you to bring following:

1- Photocopy + original letter/forms of Medical request

2- 05 photos of each applicant

3- 02 Passport photocopies

4- Fees for Adults Rs.5250 per person & for Kids Rs.3250(IOM has increased the Fee recently).

First at reception they will enter/verify your name & time & give you a token number. Afterwards you will be directed to counters where they'll call each applicant according to token number. At that counter, they'll collect all data/passport copies/forms/photographs etc from you. Afterwards, they'll direct you to another counter to pay fees & to take photograph.

After this, you will take you for Chest X-ray(adults only), they'll check your height, weight, eyesight(adults & kid both) & draw blood sample & Urine sample of each adult.

When above mentioned process is completed, you will be directed to Doctor's room where Doctor will examine you & fill out few forms by asking various questions like any surgery, fracture, any chronic disease etc.

Afterwards you'll be advised that if they found any problem in tests then u will be called again tomorrow & if all is well then all medical forms/tests results will be dispatched to New Delhi within next few days.

I hope it will be helpful to all who are waiting for medical.

Regards

You are going to get PPR1 soon. Most probably within 2-3 months after Medicals as you also are an old applicant.

Hope you hear soon from them.
