Congrats.... !!!

Please share ur financial profile... like sponsor money, assets etc.

Thanks, Still I am confused since I am not getting any reply. I really need this opportunity...

Overall, I showed around 40 lakhs (Liquid) & our lands (fixed asset) worth 8 cror. Must say, getting scholarship worked as a competitive advantage for me.

Since, I am also working (1.3yr XP) so,

submitted my job papers, accounts (personal & salary), saving schemes.
& others were reflected by my father.

I got admission in University of Alberta and got funding 14000 yearly. but in my support documents they wrote that I got the funding for 1st year, but i can renew it for 2nd year. now, what should i write in the form about available funding?

I also want to know how many days it will take to get VISA.

Fatema tuz Johra Liza

Congratulations!!!

My situation was similar therefore I am sharing what I did...

I got 70% for year 1 and year 2 (depends on availability) so in funding section, I mentioned 30% amount for y1 and total for y2 because "Renew" really doesn't ensure your funding. so you can do the same... if u r getting 14000 for y1 then ignore y1 and show another 14000 for y2 + cost of living for 2yrs!!!

I think u have idea about writing a note for visa officer. u can start like,,,, "Dear visa officer......" in this letter u can write them (explain) about ur scholarship (in short) because in the app form u can't write anything except ur funding amount!!! (I did the same)

*** Important: Must provide the scholarship info from the Uni ***

Good luck, hope it ll work!!!

Don't worry much.... I never saw someone get rejected after medical call yet..!! So, hope u will get ur passport with visa sticker soon... ;D

Do i need to notarize my study plan?

You don't need to notarize study plan. You can show property b doing CA Evaluation.

Whoever suggested you to show as much asset as you can, is wrong. That at the very first would give a wrong idea. Given your financial documents are authentic, and no confusion about a continuous income, it's all fine. And I asked for your academic profile like KU GPA HSC and SSC percentages. I read your SOP and it is to the point and well written. You need to get your visa with your SOP and academic profile remember. Assets won't help much.

Thank you very much for your response. Here are my academic details:
* KU CGPA: 3.07/4.00
* HSC GPA: 5.00/5.00
* SSC GPA: 5.00/5.00

The thing I'm worried about is the financial details. I have received around 4/5 payments from different accounts of my parents. I'm not sure how to really explain that. As far as the continuous incomes are concerned, I'm still considered unemployed as "infrequent online freelancing" isn't going to help much. How do you suggest I write my financial details explanation letter?

I understand. My suggestion would be to write two different letters. One your SOP or the so called study plan. Explain your career goals, why you chose that college and all. Write another letter explaining your financial matters. Your english is good, hence if you are honest (because honesty is the logical route most of the times), I am sure the VO would understand. Think from the point of view of VO like what question he might have in mind when he goes through your papers. Write a letter clearly explaining all those. You receiving from different accounts of your parents is not an issue at all. So no need to write about that. Write about your parents' earnings, whatever you earn and why would all these suffice for your education. The money has to be enough, and given your case you just have to prove that is the case. So keep calm and do some writings 8)

Sounds about right. Obviously I'm going to go through a logical and honest route as I have nothing to hide. Explaining the source of fund would've been a little difficult for me, but your suggestion about looking at it from a VO's perspective sounds like a great one.

Thank you very much for your help. Such advices and suggestions are definitely coming in handy; especially in such a "freaking-out" time!! :D

Okay, so here's what it came down to:

- I decided to show my father as the full sponsor
- I'm showing his bank statement + an FDR which will be equalling to $19,500 + the tuition fee that I've already paid = $27,500, which is 2,500 more than I'm supposed to show.
- Showed his employment certificate, tax assessment
- Showed my mother's employment certificate
- I cannot show any assets as we don't have any.
- I'm unemployed
- I wrote a comprehensive SOP (written above, but with some minor modifications)

All of these should suffice the need of proof of fund. Now a new major concern is, how do I show documented proof, or any kind of proof about the ties to my country? How do I convince them that I will come back? I mean, there's no asset to my name, I don't have a job which I have to come back to, I don't own a business or anything that'll show that I will come back. What do I do with this?

I never seen anyone received Canadian visa from Bangladesh by showing only $27,500 as a POF from their sponsors. I was wondering do you know anyone who received visa by showing small amount as a POF. I don't want to discourage you. It's better to be well prepared prior to submit your application than being refused by the VO. It would be tough to get visa in 2nd time.

If you have any wealthy relative, you could get sponsorship from them.

Good luck.
