Katoky is always the vibrant one even at the Dawns of Bangladesh !!!

Hi Sumon

you may like to go through the instruction guide that will guide you on filling up the forms for your spouse. It really helped me a lot while i applied.

Sumon vi,
I AGREE WITH KATOKY.
However, i differ in filling in "additional family form" again in Bangla. Instead of filling that form again in Bangla, write down all the names in Bangla below the names written/typed in English in the same form.

regards,
Dr.Hasib

Dear all BD applicants,

I appreciate all your previous posts to reply my queries.

Please advice me again for the following issues.

Fee Payment for my spouse:

What is the easiest method (certified cheque or bank draft or money order payable to the “Canadian Consulate General) to Pay the Processing fees for my new spouse?

One of my relative is holding a Bank account with the HSBC in Dhaka. Can I use that account to pay the fees? Is there any doc (e.g. my passport photocopy) necessary to show in the bank?

Filling in the Forms for my spouse:

When my spouse will be filling the Additional family information sheet, then who will be the “applicant” mentioned in the form?

Does it necessary to fill another Additional family information sheet again in our native language (Bangla)?

In Economic classes-federal skilled worker form, how will my spouse be filling the following items?

• Language (section 6)- any language test is necessary for my spouse?
• Funds (section 10)- should she put the same amount what I wrote previously in my form?
• Work experience (section 11)- she is still a student though!!!!

Regards,

Sumon

dear Tosher

first of all , could you please share your time line first. i don't think that the new list will hamper the cases already taken by the visa office . usually, if you see my signature you will see what went with my case.by this time it is possible that they are doing background check.if your case reached in process by this time , they could issue medical request in 3-4 weeks . if the category changes , then there is nothing to be worried for your case . with the new NOC list , VOs has nothing to be involved at this initial stage . once the new NOC declared , VO will take procedures accordingly .if we could see your time line , i would be able to comment on your time line more clearly . it is not always given that cases are delayed due to the causes you mentioned earlier .

wishes for you.

By the grace of almighty Allah, we have safely landed in toronto yesterday. our route was DXB-LHR-YYZ. Security checking in DXB and LHR was very smooth. people were very friendly, specially with the kids. Toronto immigration was plain and simple. we also talked with the immigration officer regarding the win of NZ against SA and performance of canada in WC. Temperature in Toronto was -8 (feels like). Today went to scotia bank to open bank account. On monday we will go to service canada for SIN Card. Waiting to hear from VNCVIEWER (she was with us upto LHR).
dear Shac
congratulation for you landing and wish you a smooth new life.
could you please tell me, which airlines did you travel, also the fare and travel time of that airlines ?
thanks

I have done med on 3rd march 2011 my passport will expire on 24th feb 2012.plz help me what shall I do?

Jannat,

Passports are something those will someday expire for all.
Nothing to worry about, apply for a Machine Readable passport, give photocopy of the current one and tell the officials to give reference about this one in the new one. Dont loose possession of your current passport. you'll have to write a cover letter to the VO about this matter, Sohail had the same problem and he wrote a cover letter as well. turn back to the old pages of this thread, you will get the posts about how Sohail dealt with his matter.

i have a big confusion. my ecas staus showing this today "We received your application for permanent residence on November 17, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 24, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 24, 2011."

The last line is the PER date. and my status showing "In Process" since i received PER. I thought Singapore VO will start processing at a later date. But the last line added today with same date as PER "February 24, 2011". shall i consider that my docs reached singapore VO now? please advise
