1. If you want to show PF as settlement fund, you need to get the PF certificate from your office.

2. My suggestion, don't show too much settlement fund. 20% more of the required amount is enough. If it is already covered, don't show PF as settlement fund.

if 20% more is required, then I need to show PF.. My Bank amount is just less than 5% above the threshold limit..

i have a confusion regarding settlement fund. How long i have to reserve the money in bank. As i have a fdr of 12lakh for 3months. Is the time of the fdr is ok? Or i have to increase the time limit of my fdr. As we know the processing time is so long,in that situation can i use the money in future? I just want to know the time limit of bank statement. When VO will check the account.

1. Your Full name written in your native language – Do I need to write my name in Bengali?
2. Personal Details of your father/mother – Date of death is not applicable, so should I keep the field blank? I can see, NA is not allowed
3. Education – For Masters Degree should it be Elementary/Primary school - 5, Secondary/High School – 7 (5 High School + 2 HSC), University/College - 6 (B.SC Engg 4 + MBA 2), Trade School - 0?
4. Education Details Start from High School?
5. Type of certificate – Original degree name that was awarded by University or ECA Canadian Equivalency?
6. Field of Study - Can I write EEE instead of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and MIS instead of Management Information Systems due to space shortage?
7. Personal History – Should I put Application date on ‘To' field and my Current Job title in the activity field? ‘Status In country' should be Citizen or Resident?
8. If I was studying and working at the same time zone, should I include both?
9. In case of a Job which falls in either part of Past 10 years, should I provide date information from the starting month of past 10 years? Eg. Say I was working in a company from January 2003 to January 2005. In that case should I write October 2004-January 2005 or the full period?
10. Members with organization – If I am involved in an unregistered voluntary community organization, should I include that information?
11. In which Box should I put ‘NONE' if that information is not applicable (Membership in organization, Government positions, Military service)
12. If military service is not applicable, do I need to put Name of country or keep it blank?

This is a vague area. Suggest to keep the settlement fund intact.

Once expired, time of FDR automatically increase. Another option is to reinvest in other bank's FDR where higher interest can be attained. In that case, keep track of how much money you received and how much you make new FD.

Regarding 8th point, i did Evening MBA at DU while working full time. So as you said , i needn't to include that MBA information as 'Studying' in personal history table, right?

and for 10th point, even though it is not a listed Voluntary organization, still i should include that information.. right?

Settlement Fund= Saving/Current Account in Banks+Fixed Deposit+Provident Fund+Stock Investment+ Mutual Fund

For Father's Name, Given Name has two Field, I filled the 1st one with the same given name as printed in My passport. In the second one can I put his alternative name like, Md. XXXXXX XXXXX? In my passport his name was given as Mohammad XXXXX XXXX.. But in his passport he used Md..

Another thing, SSC and HSC end month should be the month that examination held or the month of result published?

If you were not a member of an association or organization, do not write “not applicable”. Rather, write: “I have never been a member of an organization or association”.

But in the form they asked to write "NONE". So what to do?
