How to send original passport from Kabul to CIC India? i was requested to by the cic

ask someone to take your passport there for u.. you won't be able to mail it there by any courier from Afghanistan..

Can anyone tell me why we should have an address in Pakistan or India? I have a relative in India but none in Pakistan.
Second, how to send passport from Afghanistan to India or Pakistan, FidEx will be acceptable ? Thanks

when I got passport request, they asked me an address in India .. so I mailed the passport by British post and it got delivered , no problem so far..

Salam Aliakum,

Just a quick question about new Afghani passport's my wife has the old type of Afghani passport which is gonna expire soon and now they have this new type of passports in Afghanistan it looks like Canadian passports, if she go and update her passport will she get the same passport number or not and incase if she gets a new passport number will that cause an issue with CIC or not.

It will be a new passport number because they come pre-numbered. Issue with CIC, in my opinion, it shouldnt be an issue because its expiring you have no choice but to get a new one.

The new passports are nice.

No she is in Kabul, is there any other alternative to send the passport to CIC New Delhi and get it back in Kabul rather then sending someone there?

Yes no news from my husband's case yet. It still shows Application Received for me

According to CIC helpline the online status takes sometime as they update on weekly or monthly basis, so long you have sent all the required docs u should be good, incase if they need anything they will contact you as per your preferred method stated in your application. so your all good

thats like you have go there stay in a hotel for a week or so to get the passport back- very inconvenient

She has to send her passport to Pakistan not India. All Afghan residents must provide a Paksitan address. Only those living in India can provide Indian address.

She should go to Paksitan (not alone) stay there until she gets her visa inshallah

did anyone got it this way? as far as i know pakistan add are the worse, the fact of the matter is if they know there is a passport inside they will check it out and they might steal it i seriously dont trust that country's postal services.

i will raise a question did anyone got their passport back from this postal services salem and salamat?

What is the fastest way to get a police certificate?

if your in Canada, you could apply through any consulate in BC or ON, contact them via phone there is a fee you could pay via cheque or money order and send it to them with all required docs it takes well over 2 months i think. however the consulate ppl are nice they will help you out just ask them to speed up the process if possible.

if your in Afghanistan you gota go to your hawza then to interior ministry then foreign ministry- if you have "waseta" all these could be done in 1 week if not 1 month.
