I send my wife's sponsorship May 8 2014 and Medical results have been received., July 10 got email that it is send to India. July 22 got automated messages to pay for PR fee and police report which i already did. So does anyone know what the avarage waiting time is?

1.We received application for permanent residence on July 16, 2013.


2.We started processing on April 2, 2014.


3.Medical results have been received.

immigration asked for a copy of passport in May but status is still in process no change..anyone out there in the same boat as me?

Why is the case processing so random? Are they not suppose to go in order? I see people who are Feb, Jan 2013 with nothing happening and september and october getting processed. I am happy for the brothers and sisters who are benefiting from this but for the people who are losing out this sucks.

Does anybody have any idea as to why?

Secondly I see people who applied late 2013 were transfered to New Delhi before the people who applied early 2013.

Secondly I see people who applied late 2013 were transfered to New Delhi before the people who applied early 2013.

I think they're processing by month....so doing September-December 2012+2013 right now and then they'll move on to the next months for both years (2013+2014). They're unpredictable though that's just my guess!

inshallah with will of Allah it is safer to go by plane khaire basha Ammeen. takes 2 days to get it.

If your application is correct and have all the documents that's listed in document check list it should be done in 13 months but again no one knows about CIC that what's gonna happen for example last year they had a strike for month's and then they transfered all application's from Islamabad to New Delhi but once keep checking the processing times cause I believe they update them quarterly and as far as it's 13 months.

I had read somewhere in NDVO Topic of 2013, that there was a rumour of NDVO working on easy ones and clearing those before anything else.

so maybe they are actually doing that. I see even Nov & Dec 2013 applications getting their Visa's already.

Its really contradictory to their policy and no way anybody can get an answer out them. Wish it was Kabul, a couple of hundred bucks and forget PR you would be getting a citizenship for your spouse. HAHA
My timeline has not really started. My father in law had worked with the US a while back and he has been conditionally approved under their special visa for Afghans. Just waiting to see how the interview goes and inshAllah they get a visa to go to states which will make it easier, since I will be doing my rotations there.

I have all my doc ready just waiting to see what develops.

My cousin is a June/ July 2013 applicant and he hasn't not received anything since his AOR. He didn't even get notification of his file being transferred. He found out through his MP.

I dont know, good guess though. I think they are just so overwhelmed with all the files transfers from Islamabads, their own files, the new files, the first on they see they work on. Regardless of when it was submitted.
