Hi,
i have a specific inquiry on my friends behalf. She is 21 yo female who moved to Canada from turkey when she was 18. She has not seen her mother for three years. Her mother is applying for a 3 month visit visa. My friend is currently enrolled in second year of university. She has a part time job, and a letter from her employer that she makes 1800 a month. Her mother is retired at 42 yo, with around 30,000 dollars in her bank account, family, and a house in turkey. The reason for visit is to obviously visit her daughter who is BTW a PR. What can we do to beef up the application... is that amount of money sufficient?? Even though her mom is retired we can try to get her a job offer for when she returns maybe that will help in her case, to show intent to return. We are getting a doctors note that shows she is scheduled every 6 months for appointments. Her mom might also get re married (as she is divorced)... after she return, what evidence do we have to show for this??? Any ideas would really help, anything that worked for someone else. I also read that my friend living in Canada does not have to show any financial accounts, and she cannot be rejected on this basis. She NEEEEEDS this application to be iron clad. She misses her mother.... alot and does not have the time to travel with university. oh her mother has been to egypt and returned.... and has visa for greece...
