But it doesn't make sense for CIC to increase the CRS right after claiming to "help" int'l students.

Cut off score depends on different factors. They issued almost 2000 ITA ( not high as previous draw but still a decent amount) My guess is that there is a lot of people now sitting between 470-496 (as per today draw).

If there is a draw next week we have a chance that the score will go down a little. But I think it will go down as people expect only after a couple of months in 2017.

If we have a draw on Wednesday, ( 5 days from now) and there is no freaking PNP we have a good chance that the score will go down and will effect part of int. student now in the range 470-496. But we are just guessing...... we have no idea of the number of individual in that range....We never know, the only think I'm sure is that since I'm in the pool I'm going nuts.

My hopes have vanished in recieving ita this year or even the next after i loose another 5 points,i was waiting for my spouses new ielts results but with the that the only hopes are for him pnp and canadian education candidates,it will take like forever for scores to drop that is if it will ever drop

I don't think students made much difference in this draw because most students are still under the cutoff

Yes,sir. CLB9, undergrad and 2 years,11.5 months of experience before my pgwp expired. 2 more weeks I would have gotten ITA, o well..

Lol, how it is expected that cut offs will keep going down in coming months? More applicants including students with high scores will keep coming in to the pool as months pass, and I am not sure if it would be reasonable to expect to come down gradually. It might get lesser a bit, but not much I think. I think it is permanently going to stay around high range making Canadian education as only path to PR.
