I have couple questions for my PR application:
1) In the Background Declaration form (IMM 5669), do we need to list all our memberships with the political parties in the country?
2) How we digitally sign the form Schedule 14 ?
Please let me know. Thank you very much in advance.

You need to provide biometrics at service in Canada so book an appointment for biometrics,
If you already did then great.

Biometrics - Complete date Your biometrics status will update (under the applicant details)
and finally the Biometrics (as completed with the date in the status column after the Interview section)

Background check - Completed with a date (changes between Not applicable, In progress, and completed)

Eligibility check and document review - Review complete with date

Final decision - Approved or Refused (but appears as your application is in progress)

If approved you will receive portal requests etc.
Please correct me if I am wrong

I am confused about submitting the photos, so in the Portal there is a spot for uploading photo(s) and you can only upload 1 file, and from the requirement you can only upload digital photos in jpg format so I can't combine both our photos , I think I am left with uploading them scanned and in PDF format. So the file is going to have 4 pages 1st page back and front principal applicant 2nd page just the front and 3rd and 4th pages for spouse in that order. Am I correct??

i am also confused about uploading photos. i think i will do this: 1 page would be Table of Content. for example:

Table of Content(Page 1)

Page 2: Principal Applicant’s Photo

Name: John Deo
Date of Birth (DOB): YYYY-MM-DD
Name and full address of the photography studio: XYZ
Date the photo was taken: YYYY-MM-DD

Page 3: Dependent's Photo
Name: Wife John
Date of Birth (DOB): YYYY-MM-DD
Name and full address of the photography studio: XYZ
Date the photo was taken: YYYY-MM-DD

Page 4: Confirmation from the Photography Studio
Receipt or proof of service from the photography studio:

Page 2(Principle Applicant Photo)
Page 3(Dependent Photo)

Page 4(Receipt Photo)

This is a thread for Refugees and Protected persons. Please don't post other immigration pathways. It's confusing other people. Thank you

NOD received via mail on Sept 20

Applied for QSC and PR on Sept 30

Still waiting for AOR and BIL

I just realized that I was exempt from paying the biometric fee; I already paid it with my PR application.

According to the IRCC website at:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/protected-persons/stage-2-admissibility.html#biometrics

Note: Pursuant to R315.1(2)(c), protected persons in Canada are exempt from the biometric fee when they make an application for permanent residence.

Should I request a refund of the biometric fee? Please advise.
