But jokes aside, the rule says PCC for every country you stayed after turning 18 or in the last ten years whichever is later. I submitted them PCC for last 10 years and now they are asking me PCC for the time since I turned 18.(I’m more than 18+10=28).
The officer smoked too much pot. But regardless, I am happy now with my new status and now in the process of getting all records updated at the banks and school.
I would not fight these officers. They are under a lot of stress lately and shall not be pissed off by our LOE’s. Give them what they want, “apologize”even they are wrong. They are just like customers in a Tim Hortons and we are the workers there. “Officers are always right”. I guess that is how I get things done fairly quickly.
I call IRCC agents every other day and would never take an ”no agents available “ as an answer.
PCC was acknowledged and Portal email issued within hours of a call and CoPr within 2 hours of a call on the same day.
the person who signed my copr is not exactly the same person on the phone which is expected. They must have some trigger in the system that if the client requested checking a submission of document, the officer might be beeped.
Maybe that’s the case or it’s just an coincidence.
Anyway, I am signing off and fingers crossed for my SIN update. Somehow, I missed the full room of people lining up in the Service Canada. At least, pre-Covid, we can apply SIN in person without webform appointments.
