Honestly GCMS notes are nice but it's not very useful and you can't really determine much from them. Especially since you get them one month late.
I disagree. It has been very helpful in determining where I am in my application... Not to mention the actual notes written by the immigration officer on the file. The correspondence between my lawyer and the immigration officer.. When and how these correspondences was issued. Knowing is what drives me...
But then again this is just me, my opinion, based on my situation. I understood 90% of the entry on GCMS .. It's not that hard really.
One significant part is that knowing I've passed the Medical, Criminality and Eligibility... The Eligibility part is important for me too.. Since my work permit is expiring in May ( I've already submitted an application for an open Bridging work permit) it says on the site that I must have a positive response on the Eligibility criteria on GCMS before I can get an open Bridging work permit..
Another thing to point out is that they have a bring forward date which is September this year, in my case, which also means that by that time I need to redo the Medical and resubmit up to date Police Certificate.
I can go on and on but these are just some of the info I have on my GCMS notes.
But then it depends on our individual point of view.
