I also applied at the same time as you and would agree with the fact that you should phone CIC. Also order your gcms notes to see what has been done on your file.

If your file was sent to secondary review it should be mentioned in your notes.

You should have heard something by now.

Kml boparai is from the last batch which was May 2010-Apr 2011

He should have received some instructions by now.

Hi
Kml boparai
I m from same batch I sponsor my family on apr 2011 and additional documents I sent in sept 2014 then after AOR on nov 2014 then no reply from cic almost dce 2015 then I call cic so they said they will put req. and then on feb 2016 I did GCMS notes and in between on march 2016 I got approval then I got result for GCMS so my suggestion is call cic and also do GCMS notes .
My parents got medical on march 2016 and also req. some documents for my brother and sister . We did medical in apr 2016 and almost ready for documentation. Now hope that will get ppr req soon. Best luck

This is my timeline:
Application received: June 2011 (from CIC website)
AOR: February 2013 (from CIC website)
Request for more information: September 2015
Started processing: January 2016 (from CIC website)

Today we got an email with a PDF saying there's been a refund of $120. It doesn't explain why, and nothing's changed on the CIC website.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be? We haven't heard anything since we sent in the additional info last September.

Did we double-pay for something?

i haven't got my approval yet, keeping positive attitude and hopping for the best. next step would be MEDICAL and as parents or one gets old we are not going to be any better in health, and this makes me worried as years are passing by.

can some one help me by letting me know what exactly they are looking for in the MEDICAL TESTS, and list of TESTS

with regards

The medical panel doctors handbook link is below:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/

Chapter 4 and in particular section 4.7 of the handbook will give you details of the medical examination.

Thank you very much! Looks like I might have selected some wrong options and ended up overpaying, as the $120 refund brings me back to $980 for my two parents, which is the "Right of Permanent Residence Fee" of $490 times two.

Hopefully this means they're actually starting to work on it.

Thanks again.
