My status is still referred for secondary review since April 2016 (6 months )- no update since 6 months
Also says r10 requirements met. Po to review request as a possible Dokaj case. case referred to special unit/Service Delivery Specialist for LICO.
R.11 based on temporary processing office CPC ottawa..

anyone else having same situation and passed the secondary review?How much time it took?

After i read ur post. I search for"dokaj case". This Mr Dokaj vs CIC in which CIC lose the case in court for parents sponsorship. CIC was not adding Mr Dokaj's common in law's income while calculating the family income. Judge ruled in favor of Mr Dokaj. I wonder how close is your case to same. Did you not add ur cosigner income in the initial application.

it has been three months my Parents Sponsorship application approved by CPC-M (i.e. on 7th July 2016 and it was transferred to Ottawa)

as of today i did not receive any email or letter requesting for Medical and PCC

i was looking at my eCAS of there was any info about my parents PR on the Principal Applicant section (i.e my parents portion) it says we started processing you PR application on 7th Sep 2016, (almost two months after the sponsorship application) i haven't heard anything for Ottawa since Sep 7

same situation

i sponsored my family in july 2010. my file is moved in london visa office in august, they asked me about my some addition information
1-update schedule A form
2-addition family form
3-update passport copies
4-update the evidence of dependent children

and now when i checked my E Case status its shows

name decision made in process
xxx xxx we start processing ur application 18 august 2016

but i did not get medical and police clearance request

plz check ur application status and let me know about ur case

and one more question did they asked u about addition information that i submit

yes i had added my spouse as co-signer later on, but not in initial application. now due to change in circumstance (child) the LICO is not met , so i think they are checking if the 12 month rule is applying before change in circumstance as per the Dokaj operational bulletin

interesting with in three days from the date of file transfer you have got Medical request?

there are folks waiting for Four months from the date of file transfer and they have not received Medical Request yet!

1. When did you submit all the Additional Documents?

2. When did they approve your sponsorship Application?

3. At which VISA office is your parents PR being processed?

4. after how many days did you receive Medical and PCC request after you file was transferred to Local VISA office

i am assuming that you are from 2011 batch.

we are just trying to understand timeline only, and wishing is all the best for everyone

or it might be an error, best thing you could do is call them or send them an email. or do both of them and make sure you send the same request via canada post (hard copy )

OK. I will email them back and call them too today to clarify. Do I need to request for hard copy? Most of the communication is through emails these days I believe.

People are also waiting for Secondary review to renew their PR cards and also getting the answer "There is NO TIME LINE " . I thought it was only for PGP

Was reading more posts and my GCMS notes. In GCMS notes under SPONSOR ELIGIBILITY title is Due Date: that is exactly date one year from the date it had started processing.I am not sure if this is applicable to applications in "Pending Review/Secondary Review" or it is for applications for regular processing time

I had talked one user whose application took one year another's took 15 months to complete Pending review. Mine is in 14th months waiting. It is from date of "start processing"


On another post a user was saying about CIC

I fully agree with that user. I believe it is not only for PR card renewal, it is for every immigrant( for every application)

I did not heard and found pending review files before. It seems it was new rule from the Conservative Govt to slow down applications process. Seems, not many people knows about this. Of-course "Red Party" also had supported conservative to do all this. Now this Red party may have done some good, but not much taking about the worst done by "blue party"

In my case it's a mixed feeling.

it appears that when you applied in 2011 does not matter much, as we were placed in a second queue later on after submission of additional forms.

getting medical request within 15 days for the day file was transferred to Local Visa Office (i.e. New Delhi).

in my case and one more person in this Forum our file was approved in Jun-Jul 2016 and file transferred to Ottawa office (our parents live in India) but we do not have any dependants on the file.

as of now its three months and we have not received Request for Medical and PCC

but at same time there were few folks whose file was approved in the month of May 2016 and transferred to Ottawa office and they got medical in with in 45 days

so in my point of view, it's hard to predict,

Thank you very much for sharing. I Was checking your old posts. Seems your file was also in Pending Review. Processing on your file started in April 2015. What day you got "Decision Made"? Seems this September or October?

My files start Processing August 2015, So mine would be in November or December . Lets see . I check CIC website 4 to 6 times a day to know about decision made. Crazy hain!

Your time line says, Visa issued and also your file is in Pending review? A confusion here. Can you please correct that.? Or it may be my misunderstanding?. Can you please clarify?
