The title of the thread is fairly explanatory, why did you click on it?

I for one find the guesses pretty interesting, pointless, but fun.

Anyway, just let people do what they want to do man... as for my guess - I think draw on the 26th at 450 points ish. Which is a shame as I have 441.
Thanks for your response on my behlaf Superflychris. You are awesome. I did not even bother to reply that comment. I hope you will get selected in next draw. Goof Luck!

Is there anything mentioned by CIC on their website or any news letter for separate draw for CEC candidates ?

Cec has not given any info on this, but I have done human resource mgt here and my hr teachers are members with CIC decision making body, it was just informal discussion with them, they somehow want to give advantage to international students to keep the system running otherwise new students will be discouraged and Canada will be loosing lots of money coz of this... also you can review the 2015 required threshold and analize urself about the later part of the year
Additional note: PNP candidates ( OOPNP and others under EE)have been alloted different quota so even if they are coming under EE still they are not eating up CEC and FSW quota

Thanks that is a useful information and i hope CIC take these decisions soon and implement these in draws. Its been 6 months passed since EE is introduced and there are many things that CIC needs to improve especially for CEC candidates (including myself) without LMIA.

I think 11th draw may drop 20 to 25 points more keeping in view the trend of March draws. Moreover, last draw happened after 21 days and the score still dropped to 482. So many OOPNP invitations issued starts affecting from Mid of Sep 2015 I guess. There may be another draw in June. I think the score will be bw 455 to 460 in 11th draw. What do you think

Nop, Middle of july say 15th or so and scores at 720 or just above that!
sorry to bust your bubble!

How can you burst anyone bubble? Your guess of date and points is no more or less relevant than someone guessing this Friday with around 450 points.

I've been hearing so many predictions over the past 6 months and one thing seems sure, we don't know s***. And draws are likely to be on Fridays. That's about it. Guesses sure do pass the time though. Mine would be next Friday with a minimum of 460/470 points.

no one can burst anyone's bubble unless you're an authority lol Everyone has right to give opinion.

I guess Draw may be today and I expect the score to be down - around 450..
My application was just updated but there is no change .. Most of times it happened when they had a draw earlier.!

Best luck to everyone.

I more draw expected by the end of June. Hopefully CIC be more lenient this time inviting more people and dropping the score further. CIC please do more invitation specially for those people living there for years; studied here and paying thousands of dollars taxes

2 years is nothing, it's mine 7th year and due to immigration policies and relative discrimination in employment, I was able to apply only this year... again not reaching the points needed

Ur kidding me, 2yrs is really nothing, there are a couple of people in the pool, who have lived here for almost 8yrs or more.I have been 7yrs in Canada, completed 2 graduations, secured a full time job immediately after graduation, but still only secured a CRS score of 452 (score expected to increase to 510 in Jan 2016, due to 2yrs job experience with PGWP). My case is different as my employer helped be with my PNP,whereas the province (NL) estimates a period of 1yr to process the application.

There are many more people who worker hard, paid their taxes for many years and are struggling to even be eligible for a PR application (I mean to get an ITA).

As long as CIC doesn't give importance to CEC applicants and the human capital factors- nothing will change (If this is the case, why to have a stream like CEC and FSW, Why don't they just remove it and focus on PNP and LMIA? At least doing this will help future students to get a clear idea of what they are getting into. and will help them to make a wise decision whether to spend their time and money in Canada).

CIC has to realize an LMIA is not given to all jobs available (there are lots of LMIA exempt jobs) and also when these politicians say the new immigration process puts Canadians first, I always wonder whether all my Canadian frnds are willing to work in small towns and cities (In my experience either they want to be in Toronto,Vancouver,Calgary or one of the big cities, very few people are willing to move or wnt to do low skilled jobs), so this new process doesnt fulfill the job market needs in anyway ,but is only creating more scarcity for an employer to find a employee.

NL has jobs, but no one to work in it.Most teenagers in NL, wants to leave NL and wants to live in big cities (even parents are encoraging this). How is CIC's new system going to solve this issue in Northern and Atlantic Canada. I think its just going to make it worst

Hi, Dennia.
I am putting a proposition for Chris Alexander's office (because the odds it gets attended are the same as me getting ITA any time soon). Are you willing to work on it too, as I see very valid points in your post.
All the petitions are aimed towards the emotional factor, but bypass the economic benefits factor. Immigration system cannot be called "fair" and there is no legal term "fair". But, considering all the economic benefits and social ties, I think we can make somehow a difference.

That

And I'd really love to see the proposition gets going. Its the government ruining the economy by saying "we care about you"

I m willing to support anything that will help qualified CEC & FSW candidates and people working in certain communities (northern & Altantic Canada) be eligible for a PR status in Canada. I believe there are already polling and many other propositions send to CIC through individuals, media and so on.

My biggest concern is Atlantic Canada and Northern Canada, which has employment and has a scope to contribute for Canada's economic development, but is being affected a lot through the new immigration system. Politicians and CIC should really do something to support these communities. They are also a part of Canada(most of the focus stay on ON & BC,I do know that the Canadian govt. contributes economically to these small communities, but just money will not change the scenario, they need people to support their economy.

There is nothin emotional in this, these r just real facts & stats. This country has helped me to get established and also has helped to contribute to my home country, I m just thinking of something that will help few ignored(in otherwords given less importance by politics) communities in Canada become economically stable.
