    times for pr card

Hi Estuardo! From what I've seen on this forum getting the medical request is a very good sign. It generally means as long as everything checks out with what you send them, it would be likely that you would be approved for PR. So send them what they need as soon as possible :). Buena suerte!

    The date i have applied?

From what I have been told, yes processing times begin at the reception of application. But remember that processing times are just an average of recent applications and can be shorter or longer.

    Leaving Canada after getting PR

Hi everyone, this morning we got our PPR (yay!), and so when we receive the passport back and enter into Canada as a PR, I was wondering if it's OK to leave Canada again fairly quickly after that. My wife has been here in Canada with me while she waits for the PR and so when she receives it she...

Can my spouse arruve as tourist and then sponser her?

You should apply first, the process is long! I'm Canadian and I was living with my wife in Peru, we applied in June 2016, and are still waiting. We moved up here to Vancouver together and she is on a tourist visa still. My advice to you would be for her to apply for her tourist visa first while...

Damn. Well, I was thinking that was the case, it's a bit strange to have that as the message when it's clicked. Thanks for letting me know!

Basically what I want to know is if this would matter at all? I'm under the impression that it's mostly just to prove the genuineness of our relationship, right :D?

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with a question I had. I'm sponsoring my Peruvian wife and we've sent our outland application already. I had another question actually, my wife and I are currently living in Peru but we're moving to Canada in 2 weeks (she'll be on a TRV) and wait for her PR. I've read that once we're there that she should apply for an extension and be on "implied" status. If anyone in this thread has done...
