The date i have applied?

Is the date of my application, the date they recieved the application? For mine the AOR i got on Dec 16, confirmed reception Dec 7th, so is that my application date?

Reasons why i ask is when i check processing times, the new times start that very day, Dec 7th...

From what I have been told, yes processing times begin at the reception of application. But remember that processing times are just an average of recent applications and can be shorter or longer.

I wasnt asking about processing times lol i know about that and how it differs from an applicant to another.
I was asking about the official date of my application.
