Just got off the phone with a very nice call centre agent. They were able to confirm with me that my OWP was attached to my PR application! This makes me extremely happy as I was scared I would get AIP soon and no OWP, and then have to apply for one online and wait another 1-2months for that...

^ I would get a new lawyer...the OWP is only looked at right after stage 1 so it needs to be sent with your package or after you get your AOR. Medicals is optional yes, but I'm almost positive that you need to send the police reports with package or it won't be complete and risk getting it sent...

I'm not a rude person and don't rarely go off like this, but I don't see how Canada will ever benefit from an attitude like yours. PS, anyone can continue to work as long as they had a visa. My PGWP expired and I could have kept working because I sent my PR application and OWP before PGWP...

also to note, that the member PMM has over 16,000 posts and has been online here since 2005...he probably knows just as much if not more than your immigration lawyer.
