Ok thanks Scylla. So she will have to stop working when it expires on June 18th. But she can submit an open work permit with her permanent residence (through family class sponsorship) application, and if/once Stage 1 is approved she should be able to continue to work again on the new open work...

So if we send an extension for the WP at the same time as the PR card, they will separate the two applications and process the WP on it’s own?
