@ guri, I'm landing at Edmonton. We never got an email approving OWP, so I'm kinda worried about that. Hopefully one comes in the mail even though nothing was mentioned about it from CIC.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Now I feel like a whiney douchebag! I just got AIP and DM!!!! Both emails sent to the Sponsor. Doesn't say anything about OWP being approved, but I'll be patient for that. For those 2013's that have gotten AIP/DM did the principal applicant get any emails...

@ SaskiaL I agree 100%. I'm not whining about them getting priority, as I strongly believe they need the most help. What I'm saying is that I feel like CIC isn't allocating their resources and workers effectively.

Good News, Bad News from me! Good: I got engaged last night! My boyfriend proposed to me last night, took me for dinner, and then stayed at Hotel Mac in Edmonton =) =) =). Bad: Still no god damn mother effin AIP. =( =( =( I don't need to send anything to CIC-Veg saying we got engaged do I?

How could they literally just a week off of doing Inland Apps? Outrageous.

wasn't your status online updated though? did your OWP get approved? I will wait till they update the processing times tomorrow and there is a chance that it will move past my date (Jan. 22) and if it does I'll call then

@ Ginabean, you can try and call the help centre and ask if your OWP was approved. I THINK they should be able to tell if it was approved, but I'm not positive.

22 months is outrageous. If I get my OWP, which should come with my AIP, I think I might have to go home for a little bit. I know its frowned upon, but being from the USA, and having AIP/OWP I should be safe. But we will see.

One should think you'd get AIP this week Salsa! I'm really hoping you do. At the latest you should get it next week. I'm really hoping I get mine next week as well. It's our time 2013's! I hope some of us still keep getting AIP + DM in same day.

Anyone that has been around long enough do you know if CIC takes a lot of time off during Christmas holidays? My guess is that they would take off like December 23rd to January 6th (by looking at the calendar, but this is a pure guess on my part). Does anyone remember or know what they did last...
