    I think you mean you have found it to be true of the people you have come into contact with. The world views Canadians as pretty friendly so if a few people disagree are you sure Canadians are the ones with the problems?

    I think anyone who is immigrating or is living in Canada needs to make sure they are not trying to paint Canadians with unrealistic standards. are Canadians generally nice and friendly yes :) but unrealistic standards make it harder for you to get to know people and then you become unhappy...

    I laughed at the artical mainly because its total BS but they missed an important fact! It didn't mention Eh at all! I cant count the number of times I use that word a day and more the half the time I dont realize I use it until my hubby points it out lol

    actually as soon as your application is sent off (for extending stay or work permit in the case of inland apps) you're considered to be under implied status and as far as I'm aware you cant apply for an extension or anything long before the first status expires. you can only apply within 30 days...
