hey all, I have an update :( My hubby's file has been moved to LA which i am not thrilled about because they've had the file since jan 26th and its only being transferred now :( I hope this means they haven't touched it and we have to start over new at LA *sigh*

I know I dont have to have them but I want them before I take the next step, and having them while seeing my MP may help, especially if not much is going on in my file.

I'm going to order the CAIPs notes so i can take them with me to my MPs office, though...right now they're prolly out in Ottawa for Jack Layton's Funeral :(

I'm still waiting, bout to order CAIPs (or what ever they're called lol) notes to find out whats going on. I've heard nothing exept for emails (after we've emailed them) saying 'you're in process' type thing :( so hopefully i'll be able to get some more info through thoes notes. app received...

I think you mean you have found it to be true of the people you have come into contact with. The world views Canadians as pretty friendly so if a few people disagree are you sure Canadians are the ones with the problems?

I think anyone who is immigrating or is living in Canada needs to make sure they are not trying to paint Canadians with unrealistic standards. are Canadians generally nice and friendly yes :) but unrealistic standards make it harder for you to get to know people and then you become unhappy...

It's such a multi functional word, it fits easily into most sentences :) Soon you will be using it to :P (I've got my hubby saying it lol) gotta love it eh!

I laughed at the artical mainly because its total BS but they missed an important fact! It didn't mention Eh at all! I cant count the number of times I use that word a day and more the half the time I dont realize I use it until my hubby points it out lol

actually as soon as your application is sent off (for extending stay or work permit in the case of inland apps) you're considered to be under implied status and as far as I'm aware you cant apply for an extension or anything long before the first status expires. you can only apply within 30 days...

If you dont mind me asking are you appling inland or outland?
