I wonder if they're going to start transferring more of the december buffalo people to other offices, I mean if buffalo cant seem to do them then send them to offices that can. I hate to say this but they need to stop working on all of the newer files and go back and clear up the old ones...

If I were you I would find out how to go about filing a complaint and I would email mps, and the minister of immigration and bring it to their attention that your file has been there for 7-8 months and they haven't touched it. There is no excuse for the file being there for so long and no work...

well if you plan on living in Canada you will have to apply for Perminant Residance. Your wife will have to prove strong ties to Canada every time she crosses the border (job, house etc) and you having perminant residance in Canada will help. Either way I think you will have to either get her...

Ya I only really read this thread now and occasionally go to the Buffalo thread. Its possable though that they've realized that they've made a big mistake and they will start transferring more files to the other offices. I'm hopeful that now I'm out of Buffalo the file might actually move...

Wow....Thanks! we got the email today that the file was transferred but I'm wondering how long ago it was sent to LA. I will definatly email LA and see if by chance they have the file and buffalo was just slow. I'm also ordering the CAPS notes today so hopefully that will give us a better idea...

I picked Buffalo, (Went over all the forms and buffalo was Definatly the one selected). Both me and the hubby live in Ontario (with him on a visitor record) so we would have to fly but God Willing we wont have an interview. I will try to be alittle patient and atleast wait a little while before...
