Fax NDVO and state clearly that you have pass the 17 months processing time. Call your MP the tell them you have crossed the 17 months processing time.

MP offices have been instructed not to make too many inquiry before 17 month processing time. Some office still do and some office use it as an excuse not to do anything. Better to apply for notes and to make specific enquiry based on your notes.
