Call CIC - this should be a valid reason for them to open your file - since you didn't receive any email from them, but it shows up on ECAS.

It says on their website ( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp?s=1 ) that ECAS updates on Tuesdays - I guess that is not accurate then!! :)

I am not an expert, but just by reading the notes, it seems no one has opened your application since June 8th!!

Same here, called the CIC twice - but they refused to acknowledge the receipt of the documents - saying that I have the receipt from Canada post.... I sent the original PCC, also emailed them the Scan of it. I can only wait for the DM or any communication from them now I guess...

Why are you re-sending the RCMP PCC? I was asked for it too, I sent it to them, no reply for almost 2 months now.

Any updates guys? my ECAS shows in process from May 28... been 6 weeks........

Yeah, there seems to be quite a few Aug applicants waiting for DM.
