landed yesterday at rainbow bridge. pretty painless experience. 1. took a train from toronto to niagara falls. i recommend NOT taking train #97 VIA/Amtrak as these contain Americans so it's a different experience. it's crowded and you can see who the americans are. they look dirty and dingy...

in order to apply for the BOWP, your current work permit still has to be valid. so, your friend cannot apply for that any more. he has to stop working. and can stay in canada only if he applies for a visitor status. otherwise, he has to leave. he does have 90 days to get the LMO and apply to...

strike really hasn't impacted CEC, at least not those who are at final stages. i got my initial COPR less than 2 weeks after I submitted my passport, (back in second week of june while the strike was on). it had an error, so I sent it back, and got it returned again less than 2 weeks later.

they don't transfer over into Excel; they're exclusive to Google. i'm sure there are excel equivalents, but then i have to explain all that to people who may not be familiar with excel.
