    landed at rainbow bridge

thanks, y'all! and i was joking, sort of, about "dingy" americans. it's just that they were the loudest and messiest on the train...that's all. happy it's all over. this forum is invaluable, especially with people like jes_on around. hopefully, i can add some value at some point.

    landed at rainbow bridge

landed yesterday at rainbow bridge. pretty painless experience. 1. took a train from toronto to niagara falls. i recommend NOT taking train #97 VIA/Amtrak as these contain Americans so it's a different experience. it's crowded and you can see who the americans are. they look dirty and dingy...

    Speed up processing

Think about this: as much as we all like eachother, if someone know how to speed up processing, do you think it would be wise to share how? Probably now. If we're all doing things to speed up the process, then, none get through faster. And, there is no way to speed up processing.

if you aren't certain, don't answer. you just gave a confusing non-answer. LAST entry is simply the last date you entered Canada, even if it was after going shopping in the US for a pack of gum. It's very simple...

    case officer

i'm glad this thread didn't exist when I'd applied. or, i'd be so anxious with each email from CIC with a particular VO on it. i'd keep fearing that if i get "THAT" visa officer, i'd get rejected. i think it will cause people a lot of stress...

    Strike updates

strike really hasn't impacted CEC, at least not those who are at final stages. i got my initial COPR less than 2 weeks after I submitted my passport, (back in second week of june while the strike was on). it had an error, so I sent it back, and got it returned again less than 2 weeks later.
