AFAIK, VFS Dhaka will text u, when they receive your passport back from Singapore Visa office. Did you receive any text after submitting your pp to them? I received 2 text, 1st one about receiving my PP by VFS Dhaka, 2nd one about receipt of my PP by SGVO. I received the same via email also.

"Decision made" at ECAS? My ECAS showed the same from just before the day I received passport request. Still after sending passport, it's the same. AFAIK, it means CIC has decided positively about your PR application :)

I was also considering the same. Renewal would be a hassle for me. But PPR letter states that "Passports should be valid for at least twelve (12) months." This made me confused. I'm worried if VO returns my PP stating that I did not follow their instruction !
