I collected PCC twice, from DMP HQ, in 2014 & 2016. Both of the time, it was attested from Foreign Ministry (on the back side of PCC) by the DMP. I didnot have to do anything additional.

If you are looking for a budget friendly deal, you may consider Cathay pacific airlines also. I bought a one way ticket for Tk.64,000. Their route is Dhk to HKG (4 hrs), then HKG to Toronto (15 hrs). 9 hour transit in Hong kong is the weak point, along with the long 15 hr flight to Toronto. I...

Few landed immigrants advised me to arrange another Photo ID, such as Driving license or Ontario Photo Card, till I receive the PR card. But it seems all of these would require the same time to get in hand. I guess I'd have to wait till then.

Thanks Rossei & Mr. Debashish. The problem with Photo ID is, it should be returned, if I apply for drivers license. Though it was cheaper, (CAD 35) and the driving license is CAD 58.25 for Class G1 licence package. https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontario-photo-card...
